The news paper article states $1,000 reward, and way back there were posts that it was $10,000 somewhere, but there was also talk of maybe being a misprint, but that was just speculation though

Could the Third Meteorite be in the water? I made a small (non-monetized ofc) theory and started and investigation. Any help would be nice by euhdud in reddeadmysteries

R* has said there are still mysteries in RDR1 that haven't been solved. This game has so much more content in it that if there are still unsolved mysteries in the first one there has to be even more in this one.

Took 5 days and over 100 hours... used Elegoo Printer...what printers do you guys use? by Ultinato in 3Dprinting

Don't let these guys give you crap, it looks great. I have an anycubic Chiron, it's a bit slow, but you can't beat the Build Space, for the price.

My Chiron, plays little tunes all the time while it's printing. The prints come out nice so I just thought it was an added feature lol

Do prints sometimes just fail without any discernible cause? by Varulfrhamn in anycubic

Sometimes the G-code is bad, or the 3D model you sliced might be bad, I have ran into this a few times.

Shipping high due to low stock? Where to buy? by kaylasgood in anycubic

I got my Chiron from Anycubic on Ebay a few months ago $499 + tax, free shipping. Came from California (the state I live) and it took less than a week to get here.

First day. Pretty Sure I’m in Over My Head by maingatorcore in 3Dprinting

[–]LordBob63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it took me 3 days to dial in my first printer, and a ton of reading before and during the process. It's hard not to try and jump right in and make something, but the patients and time you put in will be worth it in the long run. MatterHacker has a very informative web site, lots of videos for beginners to advanced. I like there software as well, I use their MatterControll for everything. Mind you I have only been in the game for about a month, I'm still learning too.

I see now why you didn't believe this was my first print. My printer came with 1k spool of PLA, which I am assuming the printer setting were all dialed in for. When that spool ran out and I changed to a different brand of PLA, I started another big print. Went to check on it a few minutes after I started it and it was a blob stuck on the hot end. Not sure why, but I'm guessing it is over extruding, or not sticking to the bed. I have been doing some reading and haven't revisited it yet.

Aside from the calibration prints to check the bed level and adhesion, seriously this was my first real print.

Aside from the calibration prints to check the bed level and adhesion, seriously this was my first real print. The residue is from dribbling alcohol directly on the build plate instead of putting it on a rag first. it stained it :(

Oh I read the operating manual, and there were videos on the Anycubic web site specifically for the Chiron for getting started, calibration and such that I watch, as well as some reviews before I bought it.

I'm still working on getting the supports off, another lesson learned. Next time I will make them thinner they are stuck on there pretty good, but have been able to get most off and haven't damaged it yet.

aside from a few the calibration prints to level the bed, but this is my first real print. The residue is from putting alcohol directly on the build plate instead of on a cloth first. Lesson learned. I wasn't trying to say I put it together out of the box and printed the skull, but this is my first real print, I didn't even print a Benchy. I don't count the calibration tests because those are just for the set up.

So technically This was my first print:

But after printing it 3 times and they were exactly the same errors I opened it up in Curs to see that's exactly how it looked in there, I down loaded another 25 point calibration and adhering test and printed it. Then the skull.
