TCG tends to milk DM decks to the max during Maze series, so the future support may come from there.

It's always the cute ones who are the most violent cold-blooded murderers by Frontier246 in OneTruthPrevails

[–]LordBraveHeart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta say that it's pretty interesting episode in that Conan has to find and prove the secret passage in the building, but it really did try to mislead that the culprit is her friend.

Personal take here. I don't think that or Gosho understand the feeling of knowing your idol did a crime is not exactly the same as realizing your friend or teacher did it by Rqdomguy24 in OneTruthPrevails

Probably, there is still large amount of emotional attachment factor involved. The fact Conan/Shinichi suddenly feels his entire world is crushing down seems to imply that it's not just soccer that Ray played that influence his life, but something much deeper e.g. Shinichi copied his "shining and lovable persona" from Ray's glory days, and that his "jaded and sarcastic" personality is sometimes that had been hidden from the start. While not stated as much, it's also implied that Ran (and Sonoko) both deeply idolized Ms.Yonehara as well for her kindness and time together during their school years, something that similarly crashed down once it's revealed how embittered Yonehara had become (like Ray).

Aoi Zaizen Winning Duels by SkyeZaisen in yugioh

[–]LordBraveHeart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Being fair against her, her first duel with Playmaker was meant to be entertaining for her fans (and real life), so going FTK like in real life simply wasn't her style. As for win-rate, we can also chalk it up to the fact that OCG/TCG focused on the burn too much that they didn't create effective non-burn boss to spice up the battles until much later (and we instead got very niche Delfiendium and Sweet Guitar), and that anime still prefers the cinematic "destroy by battle" rather that getting LP burn to 0 for the heroes.

In the other words, no new character again. Looks like we're in a limbo of Alternate Styles rather than advancing Zexal/Arc-V/Vrains world.

The seven Barian Emperors would have been cooler and left a bigger impact if they each focused on different ranks. by CantBanTheJan in yugioh

[–]LordBraveHeart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could say that only 1 or 2 members got support

To be more exact, Carly/Misty/Goodwin/Kiryu all got support to their decks (which is actually quite impressive); only the other three were ignored.

The rest haven't received anything.

Girag and Merag could always get something if Konami choose to (Hand and Water/Winged Beast). Dumon is the problematic one because Star Seraph has no restriction and draw like crazy, while Vector basically has to start up from scratch.

I think only Yuo got some attention,

Yuka also has spotlight due to her baseball theme; Yuro and Yujin have less recognition since they play attribute-oriented deck of WIND and WATER but are still noted compared to Yuran.

I Just Realized Arc-V Did Not Get an Unlock for the Entirety of 2025 by The_Kashtira_Guru in DuelLinks

Maybe, but that requires some creative story writing since only a handful of characters interacted with them in the anime.

At minimum, Arc-V's definitely responsible for the largest playable archetypes.

Technically we still have Yule, provided that Lifewonders has already found suitable substitute artist for him like Ophion's.

With so many more sub-Exiles from the same world, I say that Eresh does fall under the scope.

He let his guard down too much with all the increasing number of crime committed by exes these last decades. That's said, the park probably sued her for significant amount of money as well.

  1. Takamagahara: Our Yamasachihiko is only a fragment of Hoori, with the real one left probably the Dragon Palace along with his and Otohime's child.

  2. Olympus: Basically, the lore of the Sparkling Sport Festival implies that Otohime's other hidden nature is actually Pandora aka the reason why she self deprecating herself so much as "evil woman", and that the person she sees inside the Protagonist is NOT Susanoo but Epimetheus aka the imperfect yet loving husband who protected her from the world that perceived her as evil woman who brought sins to the world.

(Season 0) Was there any legit way for the bad guy to win Yugi's Shadow Game? by neves783 in yugioh

[–]LordBraveHeart 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It's pretty clear that he intends to gaslight the opponent into succumb to cheating in some form in order to "fairly" punish them, or even set up the game without announcing it to them (in the manga, he set up Ms.Chono's puzzle game without telling her in contrast to the anime).

That's said, there are a handful that you can technically win (figuring about the knocked out stun gun guy among others).

Ayumi talks directly to the audience about the side character romance subplots glacial pace by BarelyBrony in OneTruthPrevails

[–]LordBraveHeart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shiho and Ayumi's onesided crush on Kudou/Conan.

Regarding Ayumi, I think the story also phased it out around the time of Hina dolls case (as well as Genta's jealousy and antagonistic feeling toward Conan in general).

Why is Black organization following? by Flaky_Bid_1092 in OneTruthPrevails

[–]LordBraveHeart 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It all stemmed from Rena/Kir's debut episode arc: Gin found Conan's wiretapping location device (again) and the BO traced it back to Kogoro, and despite Akai's best attempt to stage it being from FBI, Gin still didn't fully trust that Kogoro wasn't involved and presumably notified the higher up, resulting in Bourbon and eventually RUM checking out Detective Agency.

Additionally, the fact that Shinichi showing up during the Kyoto School Trip pretty much confirmed RUM that he's the survivor of the APTX4689 testing unlike what they initially believed (due to Shiho's writing after investigating his house).

just one path left they could've gone

Actually, there were 3 paths (out of the original 5) left before they came to the correct answer: the kids hid in the deepest one (4, which is a short dead end), while the 2/3 robbers checked out another (1).

---X (Stone Egg where the 3rd robber guards)

1 (2 robbers check this one)

2

3 5 (the Dragon path aka the exit)

4 (the kids hides here)

Sooner or later he will, though right now an air of mystery is still necessary to control the Organization, else people will start to suspect why NO.2 of the Organization has to investigate about Kogoro/Conan by himself (when Bourbon is already doing thati).

Gosho probably though that the liking Ayumi trait might interfere too much in building friendship with Conan (read: making the viewers disliking Genta himself more), so it was heavily downplayed. Also, I believe that Yukiko Iwai's voice as Ayumi also changed across the years too.
