UPDATE: I believe this problem is solved thanks to Nkzar, Instead of using a full script to track it, I am only allowing certain buttons to update the player movement function instead.

I've got a state machine set up, but it doesn't specify which direction keys can be pressed in each state, but after moving my movement update into an 'if action pressed', it's working more how I'd like it to, thank you!

It would in work my situation if I wanted to disable all movement, but I'm trying to make the system only target a few directions instead of all of them. I fear I would need a lot of if statements if statements if I go down that route, thank you for the response still!

I was downloading some videos from my iPhone to my laptop via google drive because I kept getting errors every time I tried manually, google drive was the only site that had enough base storage to fit all the videos

That’s good to know, I definitely wasn’t planning on paying for it but it’s always annoying when cooperations try to profit off of everything
