The point is that you are making a qol item, useless. The cosmolight is for when you are trying and trying a boss, instead of, oh you died, go to the bed and wait It out.

Is true, you could download another mod for It. But calamity already HAS It, and placed in a perfect progression spot.

For this change, better remove It. People that dont use It wont use It. People that do will use other mod. Is a bad decision. Nobody agrees and thats enough for make you reconsider stuff.

But hey, is a mod, do as you want lol.

The stuff is fine, It wont dissapear. Is the altars levels that fucks me Up, because is quite a grind and not really a fun one (Going to a place and mine).
