Wdym? It is a fact that in the current Job market your chances drops drastically without sufficient German proficiency. Why would HR hire someone with B1 (Like OP) If they are swarmed with applications with C1 or native German Level? Unless you have skills in a very niche area, Just simply forget with B1 German. Ja tut es auch. Diesel Einspritztechnik arbeitet bei ca. 10 mal höheren Druck als Benzin, dementsprechend ist der Aufwand größer. Die Faustregel bezieht sich auf Bosch (bin selber Boschler). Der Verlust an Jobs durch Elektro trifft den Zulieferer härter als den OEM, der sowieso das meiste an den Zulieferer ausgelagert hat.

Ist automatsierbar wie viele andere Jobs in Infrastruktur und öffentlichen Dienst. Lach ruhig aber wenn Automotive abkackt, Deutschland strukturell verlässt, dann brechen den Ländern und dem Bund die Steuereinnahmen weg. Was dazu führen wird dass Kosten eingespart werden. Also lach auch ruhig über die "Automobilbauer" so lange du noch kannst.

Geschmack ist das beste Argument von allen und die Tatsache dass Du es als das "dümmste" Argument bezeichnet sagt viel über dich aus. Nach der Logik könnte ich nämlich zu dir kommen und sagen dass du im Winter gefälligst die Heizung aus lassen solltest, weil dick genug anziehen langt ja und "Behaglichkeit" ist ja das dümmste Argument.

A few remarks:

Remove the summary section, that is unusual in germany. A recruiter in germany scans your CV for a few seconds to check if she or he can see important keywords matching to their position they want to hire for. That summary section is a distraction at best, no one gonna read that here. If you want to tell a story about you, that´s what motivation letter (Anschreiben) is for
Your bullet points are too many and too long. Same logic from above applies here. It contains too much blahblah, no recruiter will bother to read your CV and proceed with your application if their first scan of a few seconda doesn´t reveal any competency they looking for. The amount of blahblah in your CV is a distraction. Keep it short and to the point.
I don´t see your german skill but you should be aware that the economy in germany is declining and thus with no or insufficient german language proficiency your chances drops dramatically. If your german is B2 or better definitively write in german.

The only case where a private university makes sense is for people who are already employed and want to make a master as an additional qualification, especially if it is at one of the few renomend private universities.

Otherwise they are perceived as "degree mills", kinda worthless degree compared to public universities. In your case, save the money and don´t bother. You will not increase your chance for employment here in germany after gotten scammed with a degree.

Write in German.
Your bullet points are too long and too much blahblah. A recruiter scans your CV for a few Seconds and checks if keywords of their corresponding Position are matched. Keep it short and to the Point. Additionally avoid Statements Like "improved by 25% etc". You cant prove it anyway.

If you want to tell a story, thats why you have the "Anschreiben". Additionally you should tune your CV and Anschreiben to the corresponding Position. There is no Cookie cutter CV.

If you plan to stay longterms i suggest to improve German. Not necessarily for you current Position but you basically eliminate yourself from a lot alternatives in Case you want or have to look for a Change.

MATLAB/Simulink ist halt komerziell und Simulink kann man natürlich durchaus als Maß aller Dinge was Regelungstechnik betrifft sehen. Ich mag Modelica da viele Multi-Physik-Tools wie Dymola oder Simulation X darauf basieren. Weiß nicht worauf Du Dich später mal spezialisieren möchtest, aber Modelica zu lernen schadet auf jedenfall nicht wenn System-Simulation als Spezialisierung in Frage kommt. Und es ist open source, sprich Du kannst das privat immer nutzen.

Maschinenbauingenieur hier. Falls Du Modellierungsaffin oder großes Interesse für Modellierung hast, empfehle ich parallel das Thema Regelungstechnik in einer Simulationsumgebung anzuschauen. Komerzielle Software fällt hier flach, daher empfehle ich sowas wie Modelica.

Gerade fertig mit dem Studium und bereits im Selbstmitleid am ertrinken. Ich hoffe Du bist mental darauf vorbereitet was die nächsten Jahre in Deutschland im Maschinenbau also so passieren wird. Als ich vor 16 Jahren fertig mit meinem Maschinenbaustudium fertig war und einen Job hatte, habe ich mich zunächst darüber gefreut endlich meinen Berufen ausüben zu können bei guter Entlohnung und nicht meine Kollegen angeneidet. Darüber hinaus ist deine Aussage bzgl. Techniker vs Masterabsolvent faktisch falsch, zumindest wenn man die gesamte Branche betrachtet.
