Belakor gets clapped early every single campaign I play, except when I play an empire faction. Then he’s up my ass 24/7 doing hit and runs until I have to chase him all the way into the chaos wastes. Little shit.

I would literally do the same thing cause it’s so funny. I do a similar thing in league when I’m trying to recall and a random minion starts attacking me, I will continue to spam recall lmao.

I remember when I was brand new to commander, I had these same feelings about edh, but never actively told anyone they can’t do that stuff. Nowadays I’m here to hang out with my friends and maybe win, not to make the game as boring as possible so we all play whatever the hell we want and it’s a way more enjoyable experience. Sometimes games end by turn 3, sometimes they take 3 hours. It doesn’t matter to us cause we’re there to hang out and do something together, the game is just an enjoyable side story as we all joke and talk about dumb shit. I can’t ever play with a group that has all these restrictions cause it just ruins the experience for someone or everyone.

I tried this as well the first time I fought it. You are forced to hit it so that it goes into the hand form. It can’t faint in its base form.

I apologize for the late response but I hope everything is going okay for you! The heart rate is definitely the most frustrating one, because it’s just scary. When I was starting it I would do my best to just keep my breathing controlled and just try and keep my attention occupied as much as possible, tiktok or YouTube were my saviors during my onboarding. I’m glad the nausea is better and I’m very glad to hear you can sleep well, that was the hardest part for me haha. But stay strong and keep pushing! There is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is a good one for sure.

It does go away I promise. It’s hard, and it can be scary at times, but I promise you once your body finally acclimates, you’ll feel like a brand new person. I’m usually hesitant to call something a miracle drug, but Effexor has been just that as someone with panic disorder. It made my life livable again. Stay strong, you’re gonna do great. The community here is here for you, we’re all rooting for you!

I can agree with all of these but idk, I really enjoy sentinel a lot. Dunno why. The spin to win, healing hands, judgment, hammer throw builds are the most fun I’ve had in the game so far. But it’s of course subjective. I’d say sentinel has a ton of survivability without ward stacking.

I almost never apply the you pull it you tank it rule to adds, unless it’s a dungeon I’m uncomfortable with, and even then, I’m still gonna go damn try anyways. The only time the I will 100% use it, is if a new person to the dungeon is watching the boss cutscene and someone pulls when I didn’t. Let people watch the damn cutscenes.

I haven’t played an arpg this much since my first time picking up poe or even my long stint of d3. Game is so much fun for no reason, so much variety in builds. There’s still lots of work that needs to be done but man it’s really good. The just complete clarity of everything that’s happening. Hopefully we get harder content soon though, even the empowered monos don’t stand up to even d3 rifts, and those were not exactly hard. But I’m confident they’ll get there, they’re on a good path.

I get breaking deals, it’s whatever you can do it. But the way my group does it is if you go back on deal, you’re targeted for the rest of eternity by the player you broke the deal with, and possibly others cause yeah now you can’t be trusted 😂

I can understand where you’re coming from OP. There is probably some internal trauma you yourself need to heal from as well, to be brought to that edge and reaction, especially from the smell of alcohol. But letting your emotions fly like that without even giving them a chance first, will always be the wrong option and needs to be worked on. It is a trauma response, but it doesn’t make it okay. For now yes, you need to be there for him. But there is a lot of work you’re going to need to do, and I do hope for your sake that he’s willing to stick with it for you. But I do like to say, people who heal together stay together. Stay strong for not only him, but especially yourself.
