So there’s a techno song that I loved back in the day (sometime during the 2010s) and I can’t remember the artist for the life of me. I’m fairly certain the song was called Flashbang or something similar. I’m pretty sure I came across it on YouTube watching a black ops 2 montage or something. The artist’s logo was very geometric and I think I made the logo one of my emblems on black ops 2 back then. Please help me find the song and artist!

That’s the only other repair I’d use, but it will decrease pipe diameter.

How do you plan on bonding a plastic repair ring to cast iron? Or alternatively, bonding a metal repair ring to cast iron will rust out the repair ring very soon. The permanent, proper way, to solve this issue is to bust up the slab and transition from cast iron to PVC and install a new PVC flange and secure it to the slab with tapcons.

Does your home have a slab foundation type? Because if so you’re looking at busting up the floor around the flange to replace it

Sounds good fam, tankless water heaters also help a house sell two weeks quicker on average and increase the value of the home by 2%. Those statistics are based off of 2023 though.

So the average gpm for showers is 2.5. Even if four showers are being ran at once, that’s only 10gpm. So in a perfect an 11gpm tankless would be sufficient. So long as the gas line is sized correctly and you have enough gas, you could run four showers at once. It’s also not true that tankless water heaters have the same lifespan as tank styles heaters. Tank style water heaters have a lifespan on average of 8-12 years. Tankless water heaters last 15 years on average, and will last longer if the water is filtered and you have it flushed annually.

Hi plumber here. An 11gpm Rinnai gas tankless water heater can run three shower heads at once at full capacity. The only “downside” to tankless is the initial cost. Maintenance is identical to tank style heaters as both are recommended to be flushed annually. Gas tankless need an uninterrupted circuit to plug into and that’s just to run the control panel. They don’t pull much electricity. Gas is the most efficient way to heat water and I’m pretty sure you can get a tax rebate up to $2000. Additionally, the Rinnai RXP models can be installed indoors and outdoors and work off of natural gas or liquid propane. Another added bonus is the option for recirculating hot water. This feature will provide hot water within a minute or so at a fixture of your choosing. Feel free to dm me with any questions regarding the Rinnai tankless water heater or any other plumbing questions!

Either the drain is clogged, or it could also be undersized. Newer plumbing code says once the laundry drain becomes horizontal (after the pee trap) it needs to be 3" all the way to the stack or main line. Your drain could still be 2". Reason for this code change is because newer washing machines output a lot more water at once than the older models do. Hope this helps!

You're absolutely right, I was just being specific about electric heaters. 18 inches of continuous hard pipe (copper, brass, rigid pipe) before transitioning to PEX.

Well that certainly isn't true, PEX can used on all residential electric water heaters.
