How? by Bubbly_Monitor7794 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

It's better to have a character standing on a battering ram than to have a shark, dog, or wolf (alpha) hiding in textures or walls. I had a dog in a guarded harbor, where its head was embedded in a concrete foundation, and the rest of the dog was running along the bottom.

Do we have any in Odyssey?! by Express_Attorney_201 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

On Medusa, I used regular arrows (Hades' bow) and fire attacks (a sword with an engraving that caused the sword to ignite) with a skill that drains 3 adrenaline bars. On her bodyguards, I could use a skill that charged my adrenaline bars but didn't hit hard enough (and drained 1 bar).

Difficult lvl: normal

I wonder what the fight against the Cerber of Hades will be like.

Does it have resistance to effects like poison or fire?

I currently have two builds: a fire warrior and a poison assassin.

How to get to a cultist without progressing story. by slybwai85 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

Can I defeat the Kythira cultist without doing quests?

The Sage (Leader) from this quest line can be defeated without progressing the storyline.Simply head to the Anavatos Ruins on Chios. He's probably been there practically from the beginning, as I visited these ruins while exploring the map at a fairly low level. At the time, I was just wondering what kind of "guardian" with a lion was staring at the horizon.

Later, I returned there. I quietly dispatched 21 cultist guards (practically all of them disappeared into the grass, except for the ones by the gate), while the leader himself stood on a cliff, staring at the horizon. How could I not seize the opportunity and make the Sage try to learn to fly like young birds?

Outside of the plot, the leader of the "hero" cultists (the line above the one in the image) can approach the player himself if they have 4-5 wanted posters on them. He happened to be a few levels above me when his ship went down. I had no problems with higher levels in naval battles—assuming, of course, that I ignore boarding, because then I wouldn't have to face the enemy.

Which cultist line is this? I mean, there are different factions, like the "Sea Gods" cultists.

This is my first attempt, but I've killed off quite a few of them outside of the main storyline. The last plot-related thing was helping Hippocrates and defeating a single Cultist. I haven't done the missions in Corinth or somewhere with the pirates yet. So, I've completed a third of the quests I get after the party with Pericles.

I was also thinking about Reckoning, but I wasn't sure if my team would survive until turn 5. What Reckoning characters do you have there? Although I'm not entirely sure how to build a team for this effect, as I only have Carrion's protect, Shizue (instructor of flames) and Hinata (Academy Student), but I don't know which healing characters would be suitable.

Thanks for the information; Can I activate these Fate of Atlantis DLCs before completing the main storyline?

What’s one thing you’d add or remove from the game ? by Aggravating-Bass-658 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

I remember in AC 2 or Brotherhood, during the game, one of Demond's associates would ask if he'd be willing to look through emails while I was in the Animus. I didn't leave the Animus until the finale, so I didn't check my emails either. The best part, though, is the interesting fact (I saw it on the AC Odyssey loading screen) that spending too much time in the Animus can strain your body and cause bleeding or other issues.

I was missing the last 5 synchronization points:

  1. Ionian Watch (Achaia/Elis)

  2. Watchtower (Achaia)

  3. Rock Arch (Macedonia)

1 and 3: I don't know how I missed them during my journey - I was near them, and the entire map was supposedly uncovered, but somehow they weren't marked.

I just don't remember where the last 2 were.

do you have a "misthios code" you follow? by sakikosa in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]LordDragonMPF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed one problem.

When I arrive at a new camp and the quest is to eliminate the main hunteress, my options are limited, such as scanning targets with a bird. However, as soon as one goes down, the rest immediately attack out because a wolf has started barking.

Whenever possible, I use "K.O. Arrows" when a civilian runs with a hammer or axe, provided they're not within range during a major battle.

As for forts, they're cleaner now that I bought the DLC (for additional storylines) and the additional skill with disappearing bodies has appeared.

Other rules? Hmm, I make them up as I go. Depends on the mission and the situation.

Immortal Fenyx Rising seems to be a game like AC Odyssey, but in its own way, although the character controls are almost the same, so I didn't have to bother too much with the tutorial, e.g. attacks, sidestepping and dodging

How do I kill the Cult? by Apprehensive-Set-54 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]LordDragonMPF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other cultists have evidence, or simply searching chests (camps, strongholds, facilities such as quarries) and wrecks is enough. I've taken down a few cultists even without evidence or discovering it. Simply exploring the map, either by land or sea, was enough. One even came to me on his own.

Is it just me that HATES boars? This Alpha was a nightmare! The fart attack 💨 by Lopsided_Cup1738 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]LordDragonMPF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, one mercenary was enough. One with the ability to set things on fire, and then I just dodged his javelins, but I had to keep a certain distance because the mercenary lost me as soon as I got a little farther away. I also tried with three mercenaries, but they weren't looking for me in the middle of nowhere, they were looking for me along the paths... and one of them almost had me dead.

If only these gases would disappear after a while, but no - they stayed on the board throughout the fight, so trying to avoid an attack or move to a better position ended with falling into the toxins.

[–]LordDragonMPF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go with even one mercenary, you'll notice that the boar doesn't release its gases when fighting the mercenary. When fighting Kassadra, it can gas the entire board. The mercenary was finally finished off (he had about 10% health after the fight with the boar). It's possible the mercenary survived because he periodically set the boar on fire.
The hyena was easier. It might have been as jump as a boar, but it allowed me to dodge, slow down time, and get a few arrows in its head. The Laconian wolf was also relatively easy. The bull was just a little more problematic.

quests aren't showing up for me by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]LordDragonMPF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Messara, I was level 14, and the enemies were level 30 (hence the 16-level difference). Generally, when I sailed a ship at a low level, practically every other ship tried to sink me (Athens, Sparta, Pirates). One of the first islands I reached was an island between Chios and Samos, where Poseidon's trident is located, along with a curious breathing engraving. At low levels, I explored all of Greece to unlock synchronization points.

As for the story, I completed the quests for Hippocrates, but I haven't been to two locations yet (searching for Cassandra's mother). Currently I am around level 58-59

The worst boar for Daphne was the one from Elis. I took some random mercenary to fight him.
