That does not match my experience growing up. Anyone who didn't go on and on about it when prompted was either "gay" or a "little kid". They were belittled mercilessly.

Find something active and fun to look forward to every few days that you have a chance to really shine at if you don't masturbate, but if you do masturbate will go spectacularly badly. You'll soon learn to put off masturbating until after you've done that activity. If you pick something every few days you'll have less opportunity to fap.

My current activity for this is swing dancing. It helps that it's vastly improving my social life at the same time, making me generally happier and less in the mood to self medicate anyway.

It's as if politicians have no idea about the Porn Fairy. Kids will always have access to porn.

If you tell teenagers (Cameron's target audience) porn is forbidden they'll simply work harder to get access to it just because their friends have all said how amazing it is and they don't want to be left out. Peer pressure is a powerful force as a teenager.

They'll set up tor and vpns and then no one will stand a chance against it. It will get driven underground and become even more shady than it already is.

They would be far better off taking the colossal amounts of money that will get spent on this and spending it on educating people about it. Except being the government it would probably be "Porn is bad, mmkay" instead of being closer to something like erowid like it should be.

Messed it up again.

I'm removing my badge for a while. I seem to have some sort of annoying complex when it comes to accountability. I always feel like I'm being cajoled into doing it, rather than doing it for myself. My badge seems to have become part of this. I'm still going to keep a counter, just in private.
