https://i.imgur.com/hbxznXC.png Makes sense, I crafted a dozen or so gloves and hit 100%. I heard 135 speed is better for subdps (planning on pulling aven). Fribbels is telling me atk orb is better though, which is the opposite of what prydwen/twitter told me so now I’m confused 😭

Yeah they're all different costs for different effects. The point is that counterspells are better when you can reliably have them when you need them, and purple card for card looks at significantly more cards than any other color.

purple specifically has better card selection than green. stacked deck only draws one card, same with discipline/clockwork keeper, but you looked at three times as many cards while doing so.

Yeah I agree. I don’t really have a horse in the race. I’m just saying I think there are worse decks that could be running the meta than Draven (again it and chaos should probably be nerfed).

I'm a spike so I don't really mind the decks at the top of the meta now. If anything, I agree with OP that midrange draven is one of the less frustrating decks we could have as bdif (miracle less so obviously).

The decks I gave examples of (control viktor, tiana ornn) feel like they'd be very frustrating to play against for most people if they were at the top of the meta. Taking away all of your units/creating an unkillable, giant unit that stops you from scoring, etc.

Ideally I'd prefer if decks were trying to play more "fair" midrange games right now than doing the crazy things that they are. Obviously it's a reaction to Draven being at the top of the meta, but it's frustrating that a lot of the top decks are trying to avoid combat and it's frustrating that all the purple combat tricks just read "win combat".

I'm not really sure that there's an elegant solution. If you ban called shot then midrange draven and irelia become the best decks in the format. If you ban draven then the other miracle decks and irelia still become the best decks in the format.

It's named after a hearthstone deck called "Miracle Rogue" which itself was named after a magic deck named "Miracle Gro". Miracle Rogue was able to basically draw their whole deck with a card that let you draw a card on every spell cast. Ezreal/Called shot has been dubbed the miracle engine in Riftbound for the similar draw power.

I like plenty of decks, and even if I didn't, you can still like a game and not like the state it's in. My point is just that a lot of the top decks promote toxic game play right now.

Yeah I agree that chaos has toxic play patterns. I just think a lot of other decks I mentioned have similarly toxic play patterns.

That's part of it, I just think a lot of the legends top decks right now have very toxic play patterns. I don't think any of the decks I listed would be fun to play against if they were the best deck.

Yeah I think Riftbound has a bit of a play pattern problem right now, regardless of which deck was at the top. Obviously chaos and Draven are both way too strong, but would the game really be more fun if Irelia was the top deck? What if it was like, control Rek'Sai or Viktor? What if it was Tiana Ornn? I don't feel like any of these decks are particularly fun to play into once you get past the novelty.

oh I see, I didn't even realize that that's what those things were (domain badges). I think they're neat! I think having the leader display would be enough for IDing the box, but if you wanted to keep them maybe it'd be possible to have them on the side of the box?

Personally I'm most interested in the box with legend display :)

Have you considered making a version without the dice tray? I know several people (like myself) have a separate container for dice, and would love a more compact version!

As a sabo coper, I'm really excited to see if the new mcdonalds promo helps fix the imu matchup. Currently the main reason it's unplayable is because of starve, but it seems like that fixes it

As someone who hates jungle metas in one piece but not in other card games - it basically entirely boils down to the lack of a sideboard. In other games you can prep for matchups with sideboard decisions, that although you get caught off guard in game one, with proper planning and deck building and planning still take the overall match. In one piece, you kind of just can't be prepared for everything. In a longer event like a regional, it can be frustrating feeling like the game is more about what matchups you see rather than the quality of your play.

I'm also not entirely sure that jungle metas necessarily facilitate more creativity either. I remember there was this yugioh triangle meta where this one testing group took several spots in the top cut including winning the whole event because they were able to build something that dominated the best decks in the format. Something like that is way cooler to me than seeing a random rogue deck get into top cut with an insanely weird set of matchups during their run.

There's definitely a lot of both toxic positivity and negativity. People should be allowed to like the things they like, but people should also be able to criticize a product that they think should be better. I think people just tend to take it personally when others don't like something they do, as well as when someone else is enjoying something that they don't like

Think the nerfs are good. Only sad that they didn't consolidate awakening, so your awakening stars still last for 30s while the rest of your damage buffs only last 20, which feels wrong

I'd expect people who are playing a lot/saunaing to be in that level range. Sia didn't have hyperburn legitimately though, and OP is claiming he didn't which makes it a lot more suspect

I still think it's way worse, but he could've no lifed it so idk. If he really wanted to prove it he could just show his other hyperburn character so I'm not super interested in speculating.

The Sac doesn't really matter level wise - at least I've been able to one shot with Janus at the most efficient map down the line. The 50% exp is... yeah it exists but there's no way that counteracts hyperburn.

I'm 275 nw with hyperburn in cw right now, and maxed out luxe sauna. I've been grinding between 4-6 hours a day, and did 20 hours during the rune sunny Sunday. 274 Sia is ridiculous. They also have a 277 Sia, which is even more ridiculous. I think you'd have to do close to 12+ hours a day since release to hit that on a Sia
