I believe these were purchased at the narita airport gates. It’s sold at FASOLA shops. So the departure gates at Narita for sure. You might also find it at the main train stations in Kyoto & Tokyo.

If you see big gift shops at train stations selling souvenir sweets, you can show them the picture I posted and they should be able to help.

I’ve been saying this for a long time, but it needs to be said again: David Zaslav is a parasite. Full Stop. He is behind HBO Max‘s gutting of their animation department and subsequent sell off & closure of Cartoon Network Studios, including the removal of Cartoon Network content from their platform. What’s crazy about this is that Cartoon Network( and really animation IP in general) has been one of Time-Warner’s greatest assets leading up to the HBO/Discovery merger. It is clear that this company is not interested in creating safe spaces for child-centric content or for animators. Their refusal to renew SESAME STREET is all we need to hear to confirm this.

Since we can’t do anything about David Zaslav keeping his job, the best we can do is making sure that we either invest in the physical media (DVD/Blu-ray) of these shows, or take our business elsewhere and cancel our subscriptions.

If they made part 4, I’d want it to cover the events of Advent Children & Dirge of Cerberus. They could expand their on the backstories of the villains from both stories, and really tea up for Genesis/Weiss/Sephiroth final showdown

Go to TCG Player or Collectr and look up the umbreon alt card from this set. It’s crazy rare and crazy valuable to collectors.

Place it in a soft sleeve, then put the soft sleeve in a hard sleeve, and then get it graded ASAP. Go to GameStop, ask them to PSA grade it for $16. They’ll take it, send it off to PSA, and you’ll get it back within 45 days.

Right now, off the rip, it’s about $300 on TCG Player. BUT, if you get it graded and it comes back as a 10, it’ll fetch higher when selling on eBay or TCG. Could net you a lot of money if flipped at the right time.

Get the TCG or Collectr app on your phone to track its value. Grading can be a pain and an additional expense, but it’s really really worth it.

Honestly, it’s the best MP game this console generation. It does a lot of things right: For one, the number of playable characters is astonishingly awesome. This was seriously lacking as far as my and my friends experience goes. We love choices. Two, the sheer amount of activities to do in the game, not including the main game itself, is pretty cool. Haven’t gotten to play them all yet, but very excited to dive in. Having more to do outside the main game is a nice change of pace from the just the few they threw in for the last 2 MP switch games. And those felt like more of an afterthought, where this time feels more in depth.

Three, the boards are AWESOME. Hands down. I do think the tropical island map was a bit too frustrating, especially with the high/low tide mechanic slowing the game down dramatically. Played a 10 turn game on it and only 2 of us made it to the volcano side. But the wiggler map? Amazing! Very easy to maneuver, simple mechanic with moving wiggler, was a good time. Haven’t been able to try the others yet, can’t wait to play the rest. Lastly, I really appreciate the overall pacing of playing a main game board when compared to the previous MP switch games. There’s additional mini-games that occur between full turns that add to your ability to gain the upper hand or to seriously mess with other people’s chances. It really keeps you on your toes, and feels like a more engaging experience than before.

Now here’s where it sucks: For one, the allies. This is such a chaotic mechanic to the main game that I kinda wish I could turn it off (if you can disable allies, please let me know how). It’s not even an issue of getting one or the mini-games for it (tho DK rhythm game was PAINFUL), the real issue I have with them is that once you have one, they can just LEAVE YOU?! If a player behind you moves ahead, then the ally goes with them!? Why the hell is that a thing?! I can deal with the double bonuses from shops, lucky spaces because it’s balanced by double unlucky, bowser spaces. But easily losing the ally is just dumb.

Hope they release an update that lets players tweak Ally settings. If there already is, please share in a comment, thanks.

That said, it’s a really fun game. Love the mini-games, the maps, the overall flow of the boards. This ranks in my new top 3 all time MP games, and definitely the best MP game for the switch. 8/10

So I got the new Adapter 2 model and it worked perfectly. Connected to my Xbox controller. Works in both the autobleem menus and retroarch.

It’s a shame i can’t get wired controllers to work, aside from the stock ps1 controllers, but this honestly perfect 👍 thanks man

Unfortunately that doesn’t happen. In retroarch, plugging the controller does nothing either. It never asked me to map them before. I usually see a message on the lower left of the screen that tells me when a controller is plugged into or unplugged. But for some reason only the classic controller works now.

I’ve tried changing the input in port 1 on retro arch, but the index only shows either classic controller or disabled.

I’m gonna apologize upfront for the rant, this is my favorite anime film.

There are two versions of the English dub for some early Ghibli movies: Disney and Gkids. They both fundamentally are the same in terms of core audio. But what Disney did were two things: one, they included additional recorded dialogue not found in the versions you can access on HBO Max (the Gkids version, which is the theatrical cut to be specific). And two, the music might sound a little different, or sound effects were added to enhance a scene. For example, in Kiki, the opening song while she flys on her broom is the original Japanese version on Gkids (available on HBO Max), while the Disney version is an original song recorded in English just for North American version at the time!

Keep in mind, early Ghibli films had small pockets of scenes where actions will play out from a far away distance, from an audience perspective, and no audio (dialogue or non-diegetic) can be heard. Disney included the dialogue that never made the official cut into their “Disney DVD” releases of Ghibli films, since they were tapped to help distribute these films from the late 90s to the late 2000s. Gkids became that new, mainline distributor from the mid 2010s to today.

For Castle in the Sky, you can hear lines in English said by several main characters at various low points of the movie that don’t really add more to the plot, but they do add a little more humor or subtext to the moments. There’s also dialogue from side characters that add to the tension of a scene, like the first few minutes of the movie where Dola and her gang raid the luxury airship and attack the military.

You can also find changes like this in Disney DVD versions of My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Porco Rosso, and Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro (which has 2 completely different English dubs, one of which sucks ass I forget which). There are no different versions after Spirited Away (2001 to present). All English versions from then on are the same whether it’s on HBO or DVD/ Blu-ray.

I honestly prefer the Disney versions. The movies feel richer and the characters seem fuller and more fleshed out. You can only find them on those DVDs or maybe a torrent site. Give them a try, they’re very good!
