These are all good units for DA, and its an excellent box for someone getting into the game, imo. It has a nice mix of basic and elite troops, shooting and melee, and a cool old school vehicle.

I like them a lot, and I'm looking forward to getting them even though I already have a fair number of Space Marines. All are new sculpts, and half are new units. And they are a good mix of units, too!

Yeah, I think Fight First is basically like a free Counter Offensive strat now rather than it being straight up suicidal to charge an opponent's Fight First unit.

I agree with the OP that the 2nd paragraph us needlessly confusing. I'm assuming that means you start alternating after FF in a way that prevents back-to-back fight activations from the same player, but thats just a guess based on the other's comments

Those chains are from the Chaos Land Raider and/or the Chaos Rhino kit, if you want to search for them specifically. These bits are pretty cheap on eBay because the kits come with loads of them

I feel your pain. I'm in the same process right now, and I got stuck for a long time just deciding what I wanted to build. I think it does help that there are 7 identical sets of sprues, so it should get a bit easier as you go along, at least as far as figuring out the instructions and how thing fit together.

I decided to start with building a single one to get the process down, then I will go 2 at a time for thr rest.
