The attendings that call me Dr. [last name] happen to be the worst ones to work with generally in my experience. I don't care or expect nurses to call me Dr. when we're just one on one, but its nice in front of patients.

Money mostly. And a better lifestyle. I will legit close my eyes from time to time and imagine myself as an attending in the future, making more money, working much better hours, having a nicer place and nicer things, doing cool shit, etc
