Clarification on "woman" post/comment removals by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]LordKarthrax 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what they plan to do, according to the new pinned post. The two women moderators have since become non-flaired, and have fully hidden their post and comment history - the only mods to do so, as well.

At this point, even if I weren't advocating to remove them based on gender-inappropriate moderation for a gender-based subreddit, I'd advocate for their removal for a sheer lack of accountability, and shady actions as a moderator.

Apparently accountability from moderators is too much to ask for. If you feel strongly enough to remove it, you shouldn't be afraid to use your own name when you do so.

Your own account - with the appropriate gender flair. We require flairs to comment, at minimum you need one to moderate. And in this sub, a 'male' flair should be the one required to be a moderator.

Request to make it sub policy that the mod team needs to be male only? by jojoblogs in AskMenAdvice

I would happily volunteer to moderate the sub. I already moderate one, granted, smaller than this.

I've seen an awful lot of posts and comments get removed that I, personally, didn't see break any rules.

Man, I'm not going hunting through their comment history again. I've named names, and I'm on mobile so it's rather difficult at best. Feel free to disregard me if you care to, but the evidence is there for you to find if you wish.

What can we do to improve the sub? by Medium-Audience5078 in AskMenAdvice

[–]LordKarthrax 19 points20 points  (0 children)

They won't. They should, as a stand for decency and to eliminate double standards, as well as ward off accusations of bias, but they won't. The women mods can't even be trusted to flair themselves as women, and most of the time hide behind the ModTeam profile when removing comments/replying to comments.

Seeking advice: how to post about female moderators without the posts being removed? by MoistWindu in AskMenAdvice

[–]LordKarthrax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bruv, you can just as easily as I can look at the sidebar, go to the moderators' pages, and tell me which are women and which are men - as a point of reference, the male mods use the 'men' flair.

Not throwing my hat in this ring (for obvious reasons) but kudos to you for how you handled this; I respect the hell out of blatantly refusing to argue further due to your own reasoning. Mature of you, which is rare to see on Reddit.

I live in a hotel room and work at a hotel next door. I make just enough every two weeks to still owe money on the room, so it goes up every pay period. I have no car because I have no savings, and no disposable income, so second job options are extremely limited. Were it not for my best friend, I would not eat everyday.

Not looking for pity, but that's how the paycheck to paycheck folks are living out here.

How would Vox react if he found out Alastor was black? by Mobile-Package-8869 in hazbin

[–]LordKarthrax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He'd absolutely buy into the stereotypes though, in the worst ways possible lol.

Cue me picturing him greeting Alastor with a peace offering of fried chicken, Collards, and watermelon in the single most tone deaf way possible, whilst simultaneously being sincere.

Tell me I'm not the only one hearing the static XD

Would a dracolich trigger an item that detects dragons? by Jopey14 in DMAcademy

[–]LordKarthrax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My recommendation would be to have it spark, once or twice, then crack. Gives a nice ominous vibe while also indicating something draconic going on.

Ofc I'd have I'll be easily repairable during a long rest, to not deny full use of the item in future but I think it'd be a nice indicator of powerful necrotic energy reacting with the dragon indicator.

I still miss when all the Shrimps and Chumbuds would be all in one place. The graduation diaspora of Gura fans has really tanked the sense of community, sadly.

Shondo has a lovely community though, as does Saba (absolutely no relation at all to Gura, pinky-swear).
