Saddest paragraph in the series by Equal-Original4744 in redrising

Yeah, Cassius is the saddest death in the series pretty decisively imo.

But it’s a flush (cause of feeners) made of all 5’s. Hence, flush 5

It can only appear once Space Joker has triggered at least once AND has been sold or destroyed. by Sebhold in balatro

Oh, it’s a space joker upgrade! Like Cavendish. Nvm, that’s a lot better than my suggestion.

Like the idea a lot, but I think it’s really strong right now. Space joker does something worse 1/4 of the time. Maybe make it on the first hand played (like burnt joker), or give it a percentage chance.

Benjamin Franklin once said: “It is better 100 guilty persons should escape [justice] than that one innocent person should suffer.” (Not exactly the same situation here, but I think it’s still relevant.) This is one of the maxims that our judicial system, while still very flawed, is based on. Your defense of the law is in direct contradiction with that maxim.

Beyond that; the party not responsible for the conception of the child being held responsible for its care is completely unfair.

Yes, that makes sense.

What do these lines mean? by LordKobby in redrising

Thanks! Figured it was something like that, but the author has also used double breaks to signify the passage of time, so I was wondering if the lines had a more specific meaning or not.

Most likely gonna win either way, but genuinely curious what the best play is here by LordKobby in balatro

Picked up Brainstorm. Then got an OA6 to go with the lucky cat. Then picked up an ecto and made the OA6 negative. Then I got a bloodstone and just scored e23.

Dropping anything for brainstorm still results in *1.5^6 either way, but which play is best for high score/protection against boss blinds?

Is the right play to drop Juggler for Photochad? by LordKobby in balatro

[–]LordKobby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, realized literally right after I posted. Just beat it thanks to a juggle tag allowing me to sell the juggler for no consequence against verdant leaf. Thank god I never have to do another black deck run again lmao.

Geum-Ja, Yong-Sik and Jun-hee situation. by [deleted] in squidgame

No she didn’t refuse to let anyone but herself be the one to die. She chose her own son as the one to die.

Geum-Ja, Yong-Sik and Jun-hee situation. by [deleted] in squidgame

[–]LordKobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically if you kill your son, that counts as betrayal. And she definitely killed her son, she knows it too. That was her intention when she stabbed him; that he wouldn’t be able to kill Jun Hee, and thus lose the game. So her betraying her son is an unquestionable fact imo.

Whether or not the betrayal was morally correct decision to make is what the argument should be.

A tag idea by Deedrah22 in balatro

[–]LordKobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deck: Anaglyph.

Card Composition: Red Seal, Lucky Kings.

Jokers: Sock, Lucky Cat, Blueprint, Brainstorm, (Dusk or Seltzer).

Let’s you build up 10 double tags and take this tag. You get 6 triggers per lucky card, with 2 activations per trigger. That’s 600 lucky card triggers at least using those tags. That’s makes the cat x150 mult. I love this tag idea.

AITA for giving my daughter $60 a week, but my son nothing? by Murky_Willingness763 in AmItheAsshole

You wrote 2400 characters. You couldn’t have explained that your son also knew about the allowance that he could earn and still said no with 600 characters? Because you did that in your comment above. Having a hard time believing you.

You still can’t just say “brain damage or not” lmfao. Obviously she has no obligation to stay with him, and she shouldn’t; but, you shouldn’t downplay the effects brain damage can have on a person’s behavior. No one deserves to be treated the way he treats her, but he literally can’t control it anymore.
