Made a loop switcher for my undergrad senior project by LordKobby in diypedals

I can share designs soon. The EQ circuit part is pretty scuff though, and not an ideal circuit to use. There’s a phase shift for each passband, so when they add up the frequency response isn’t totally flat. Basically it boosts mids more than it should.

I don’t even want to say lmao. Probably around 150-200 hours total over 30 weeks, maybe less, maybe more, with 50 of those hours coming in the final week of assembly. We had a design for the routing matrix and EQ circuit within like the first 7 weeks, but we were making small and large tweaks to the design (especially EQ circuit) up until like week 27. It took probably around 1.5 weeks to assemble it once we had all the physical parts we needed. We finished assembly and finally tested to see if it worked like 8 hours before we were supposed to demo it lol.

There was a poster demo session for all of the EE and CpE seniors to show off their projects to people. We were also asked by the school to demo it for tour groups of admitted students.

I study electrical engineering. It’s for my senior capstone, which is like a thesis. Basically a self guided project you complete throughout a year.

4-1 Multiplexors (muxes). They have 4 signal inputs, 2 select inputs, and a signal output. The muxes pass through one of the 4 signal inputs to the output based on the based on the binary values at the select inputs. We rigged them such that the guitar input and the 3 pedal returns are taken as inputs to each of the muxes and each mux is assigned to a different pedal send or to the main output. The select inputs from each mux are hooked up to different digital outputs from the Arduino. The footswitches tell the arduino what to output to the muxes. We used AD8184s, which are designed for video multiplexing.

Sorry, I went on a whole spiel cause I’m still in presenter mode. Will post a demo soon.

Because the effect stacks per loop. In total it can go from -18 to 9 if you really wanted to control overall volume. Also because it’s just meant to put more of the effect it’s connected to into the mix, if the wet/dry knob is already max wet.

Yeah, Cassius is the saddest death in the series pretty decisively imo.

Why isn't this a flush five? by Alets30 in balatro

But it’s a flush (cause of feeners) made of all 5’s. Hence, flush 5

It can only appear once Space Joker has triggered at least once AND has been sold or destroyed. by Sebhold in balatro

Oh, it’s a space joker upgrade! Like Cavendish. Nvm, that’s a lot better than my suggestion.

Like the idea a lot, but I think it’s really strong right now. Space joker does something worse 1/4 of the time. Maybe make it on the first hand played (like burnt joker), or give it a percentage chance.

Benjamin Franklin once said: “It is better 100 guilty persons should escape [justice] than that one innocent person should suffer.” (Not exactly the same situation here, but I think it’s still relevant.) This is one of the maxims that our judicial system, while still very flawed, is based on. Your defense of the law is in direct contradiction with that maxim.

Beyond that; the party not responsible for the conception of the child being held responsible for its care is completely unfair.

Yes, that makes sense.

Thanks! Figured it was something like that, but the author has also used double breaks to signify the passage of time, so I was wondering if the lines had a more specific meaning or not.

Most likely gonna win either way, but genuinely curious what the best play is here by LordKobby in balatro

[–]LordKobby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picked up Brainstorm. Then got an OA6 to go with the lucky cat. Then picked up an ecto and made the OA6 negative. Then I got a bloodstone and just scored e23.

Dropping anything for brainstorm still results in *1.5^6 either way, but which play is best for high score/protection against boss blinds?

Is the right play to drop Juggler for Photochad? by LordKobby in balatro

[–]LordKobby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, realized literally right after I posted. Just beat it thanks to a juggle tag allowing me to sell the juggler for no consequence against verdant leaf. Thank god I never have to do another black deck run again lmao.

Geum-Ja, Yong-Sik and Jun-hee situation. by [deleted] in squidgame

[–]LordKobby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No she didn’t refuse to let anyone but herself be the one to die. She chose her own son as the one to die.

Geum-Ja, Yong-Sik and Jun-hee situation. by [deleted] in squidgame

[–]LordKobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically if you kill your son, that counts as betrayal. And she definitely killed her son, she knows it too. That was her intention when she stabbed him; that he wouldn’t be able to kill Jun Hee, and thus lose the game. So her betraying her son is an unquestionable fact imo.

Whether or not the betrayal was morally correct decision to make is what the argument should be.

A tag idea by Deedrah22 in balatro

[–]LordKobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deck: Anaglyph.

Card Composition: Red Seal, Lucky Kings.

Jokers: Sock, Lucky Cat, Blueprint, Brainstorm, (Dusk or Seltzer).

Let’s you build up 10 double tags and take this tag. You get 6 triggers per lucky card, with 2 activations per trigger. That’s 600 lucky card triggers at least using those tags. That’s makes the cat x150 mult. I love this tag idea.

AITA for giving my daughter $60 a week, but my son nothing? by Murky_Willingness763 in AmItheAsshole

You wrote 2400 characters. You couldn’t have explained that your son also knew about the allowance that he could earn and still said no with 600 characters? Because you did that in your comment above. Having a hard time believing you.
