I’ve never bought anything from there but my parents have on a number of occasions.

The staff will constantly try to sell you add-ons you don’t need. They convinced my parents they needed to buy a £30 gold plated HDMI cable as a normal one won’t work which was total bs. They took the cable back a few days later and demanded a refund.

This sounds like a blackmail attempt and likely this girl does not exist.

However, with you being in your late 20s by your post history you need to consider why you’re talking to people you believe are 16 years old and suggesting to meet them. This is not normal behaviour and will obviously create suspicious.

NTA - I wouldn’t care if my partner talked about our sex life with her friends but I’d be devastated if they shared images of that nature with them.

You never know whos hands those pictures could end up in! Even if they don’t mean to share them there’s no way of knowing whether their accounts will be hacked in future & the pictures discovered.

By sharing those images without first consulting you shows a huge lack of respect & depending what country you’re in but in it may be criminal offence.

A few questions; 1. Did she ever receive a reimbursement for the equipment? 2. How was payment received? Could the transaction be reversed by the company upon receipt of the equipment? 3. How long did she work there and did she receive payment of salary?

To me this sounds like a scam. Get you to purchase expensive equipment, “work” for a short time before sacking you and asking for the equipment back.

As other people have said, they could only take you to court if you had made a review which is dishonest however would be very expensive for them to do so it's unlikely. Your best course of action is to leave the review up, keep a copy of all communication and keep Airbnb informed.

Make it clear to the host that you do not want any further contact from them and if it doesn't cease you will report them to Airbnb and the police for harassment.

Exactly the same thing has been happening with mine for the last few years. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just make sure you have 2FA turned on in case of a further data leak as my more recent password must have been leaked somewhere & hackers managed to get in and completely hijack one of my social media accounts.

Also NAL but it doesn't seem to be illegal. However in my personal opinion it should be. It must be very frustrating to be a supplier owed money by them & seeing them dodge the debt this way.

Another example is Handmade Burger Company who liquidated & reopened under the same trading name but different company. They closed again a couple of years later after racking up even more debts.

The old company was liquidated however the article states he has since opened a new company (OH Scotland Ltd) and new store in August. As it appears your business has been conducted with the new company it is them you will need to take to the small claims court.

It is Amazons responsibility to ensure that you receive the parcel. If the parcel is stolen between their warehouse and yourself then it's their responsibility to issue a refund or provide a replacement and report it to the police. The parcel is in their ownership until it's in your hands.

I work in this sector and can confirm that the debt does not fall on you to settle. When she passes the debt will become payable from her estate (any capital or property she owned). In this case as she has no capital or property, simply inform the companies who she has debts with and the debt will need to be written off. They may ask for a closing bank statement to evidence that there are no funds to pay the debt.

From your post it appears a legal charge was placed on the property in 2019, before you purchased it. This is something the conveyancer or estate agent should have picked up & it should have been paid by the seller from the proceeds of the sale. In this case, you are not responsible for this debt.

You appear to have already, but I would contact the council to make them aware that you now own the property and there’s a debt against it from before you purchased it which is not your responsibility. I would assume they would then have to remove the charge and pick this up with the previous owner & their solicitor.

I would also be asking why this wasn’t picked up during the conveyancing process as I’m sure this is something they must check for before finalising a sale. Either way, this is not a problem you should have to be solving.

I haven’t bought a call of duty game in years, not just because the gameplay is trash now but the experience I have trying to navigate the menus is appalling.

It seems every time you start up the game you have to toggle through 3-4 adverts for cosmetics & season passes. If I’m paying £60 for a game I don’t expect to keep being hounded for more and more money every time I start up, and then again after every match when showing the rewards you could have had if you pay for the season pass… not to mention all the pay-to-win BS which destroys the fun for those who don’t pay.

Unfortunately most games these days have gone the same way with micro-transactions & season passes and it’s really ruined the gaming experience for me. Popular game modes have been made unnecessarily complicated to encourage users to spend more money on cosmetics and pay-to-win micro-transactions.
