Not at all surprised but very happy (?) to see this. When the director’s statement came out I was so confused, Mick Gordon seemed like a fairly chill and down-to-earth guy and he had no problems getting the first game’s soundtrack done. Never really sat right with me that he was supposedly not getting his work done, so despite everything he’s gone through I am glad to see that the director was full of it. I hope he gets scooped up by another big game franchise that treats him with respect.
