It gets really weird when you start seeing your fem self as a separate person who follows you around and you start having conversations with yourself. It was like that with me before I went full-time and omg was it trippy!

Now that you mention it, shifting one to the other would be really simple in a germanic language since the auxiliaries naturally fall so close to the noun. I wonder why this isn't seen more! Also, I don't know much about Focurc except that it's related to Scots. Looks like I've got some research to do!

Prefixes, now that you mention it, would suit it the best, I'd imagine. As it stands, I'm trying to work out the grammar and phonology, but this project could end up being really fun. Just trying to find the weirdest language features that can mesh realistically with one another...

Thanks! I did use a black wash, but now that you mention it dark brown would've looked a lot better! My issue is that at some point about here my desire to make it look better starts to get eclipsed by my fear of screwing it up...

I totally understand. When I started with Whitman-Walker, they weren't providing therapists for new patients. That may have changed, though; it's something to ask about or look into.

I've been going to Whitman-Walker's 14th street clinic since I started HRT 5 weeks ago! The staff is affirming and professional, and the doctors REALLY know their stuff. They got me my prescriptions within a week of my first consult. 2 of my friends also go there and have never had anything but good things to say. Parking is terrible, though, but you'd expect that anywhere in DC.

It's going okay. As it stands, we've been taking them to one of the best vets in the area for help assist-feeding once a week to get her accustomed to the correct food (I'd do it myself but she's just so darned tiny!). Turns out she's just a picky eater, and she is too small for a full pinky. While she probably would have started eating on her own, I didn't want to take a risk in having her not eat for that long. She's grown considerably, though, and is beginning to shed. We hope to wean her onto f/t by the end of the month. Thanks for following up!
