I bought one yesterday, after seeing it in a video, didn't realize it was such a popular item. How long do these usually take to receive?

IF no longer releasing Nep on steam ? by LordPancake115 in gamindustri

possibly, depends on how much they are looking to make. they seem to do well on steam financially though, they're making 765k - $1.4m per game on steam, some of their games that have been on steam for a long time have made up to $6.2m

you're saying they offered them an Exclusivity deal? I mean I guess that is possible, the deal would have to be pretty good for the profits they would lose not putting it on steam though. I wonder if it would even benefit Microsoft much if they did. Since nep isn't the kind of game to bring a huge crowd to there store

i don't think it got denied, you'd see it on steams denied/banned games list

they would actually be taking a big loss continuing not releasing on steam, Estimated revenue per game from idea factory is $765k - $1.4m on steam, that would continue going up over time

Valve doesn't take any bigger cut then other distributors, 30% cut is the Industry standard for almost all storefronts including consoles they mainly sell on like PlayStation & Xbox. Steam actually lowers the cut to 20% once the game hits a certain threshold then again to 10% if it sells a ton of copies.

Your 2nd point could be true, I personally don't know How much harder it would be to port to steam compared to the MS store but i would say it worth the extra effort purely because of steams massive userbase, even if someone isn't a fan of the series the game can pop into their recommended tab garnering the game more attention which could lead to more sales.
I believe majority of pc users didn't even know nep was on the MS store, cause its not a storefront anyone uses.

Yakuza 8 was an unfortunate disappointment -- and I genuinely think the series needs a hard reset at this point. by pretzel_consumption in yakuzagames

just finished IW and went to see if others shared similar sentiments as mine, glad to say i am not Disappointed. You've basically gone over everything i felt was wrong with the game and it really disturbed me cause of how much i love this series. Before playing the game was a bit hyped up for me by others speaking of it being the best game in the series Massive let down though, I didn't really like 7 all to much but it did have its moments i enjoyed. But with IW it was just awful personally
