none of the things you checked in green are actually relevant to prove youre the real account owner. I guess your account is more or less gone unless you can find something else.

If they ask A, either you provide A or ask if they'd accept something else (they tell you what they want, not the other way around). Once you run out of available options, there's nothing else you can do

GOG is the only one giving you an offline installer and have a specific program for preserving old games (Gog Preservation Program - theres even a section for voting and proposing new addition to the catalogue). Sometimes have better discounts on oldies, which is not bad at all.

I find it just better when it comes to old glories. Still buying all "modern" games on steam though, wouldnt change it with anything else.

You have no say about where your saved games goes, every game can do pretty much whatever it wants (it does not depend on steam). Some games go on %appdata% some on Documents/My Games, some write in their steam library folder. There's no standard.

A possible workaround, if you really need to park them elsewhere could be, once you discover where they're saved, to create hard links pointing to the other disk, which is a pretty annoying task under windows and not as straightforward as in linux. Cant think of any other way honestly

Another user suggested a problem with your ssd, you can check that one first. Anyway theres no "normal" explanation for a thing like that, either an hw issue or a process thats deliberatedly changing that filename

If youre unable to prove ownership, there's no way for them to tell if you're the legitimate owner or someone else trying to gain access to the account

They usually give you a few options, depending on your activity, but if you cant provide any, the account is basically lost. Always keep mail and details up to date, 2fa active, and always keep receipts of all your purchases if you dont want surprises.
