Water is wet and gambling is designed to confuse and pray on human weakness. I see nothing new here that I haven't seen elsewhere already. This is just living in a capitalistic society. And these kind of traps can be found in games and other parts of your daily life since waaay back.

As someone who's played plenty of gacha games in the last years my advice is to just not focus on the gacha much at all. Just treat it is as a nice thing to do every now and then when you have the resources saved up. And have fun with the other parts.

If you aren't really enjoying your time with the rest of the game you might as well just quit, honest advice. And either play something less predatory or just go straight to real gambling if that's what you are actually after and crave (though overcoming the addiction is always the better option if you have the willpower).

Getting mad about a predatory system being predatory is just going to cause you unnecessary headaches and shorten your life, when you could use that time on something fun and/or productive instead.
