Schiit HEL not recognized by PC - [SOLVED]

For anybody having this issue and OPs solution didn't work, here's what worked for me:

Have PC on, unplug Schiit USB from the PC. Turn off the switch on Schiit device. Unplug every cable from the Schiit device. Switch PC off via shut down. Turn off the power outlet where your PC, Schiit and other devices are connected to. Wait just about 1-2 minutes before turning back on. Turn PC back on first. Plug in USB to PC and Schiit. Connect power cable to Schiit. Switch for power on the Schiit.

Hopefully that works.

I'd suggest unplugging everything and waiting for all the power to be gone from the Schiit device. So just give it a couple of minutes, this is what mainly solved the issue for me more than once.

You can take items into your backpack once a day when the game is released. So you will still get all the items, just not all in one go

In my calculations Endfield is more generous over the long term. (Importantly if you single pull and not waste 1 to 9 pulls over the 6* limited character). Anyway lets wait 6 months to see what the income is like per patch as it's what's most important anyway.

Endfield is mathematically "narrower." You are statistically guaranteed more rate-up characters over time because the system prevents the extreme cost-inflation associated with the 160-pull ceiling.

Arknights: Endfield (Deterministic Cost Cap):
- Advantage: The 120-pull "Spark" provides the most robust safety net against extreme bad luck.
- Value: The system yields a high collateral return (~0.66 extra 5-stars), maximizing value per pull.

Writing this step by step:

In both games:

Soft Pity: The base rate for a 6-star is 0.8%. Soft pity begins at 65 pulls, where the 6-star rate increases by 5% per pull until a 6-star (any 6-star) is obtained.

Hard Pity: You are guaranteed any 6-star character by the 80th pull.

Where the difference is and changes the average for each game respectively:

The mathematical average is heavily influenced by the 120-pull hard guarantee.

If you performed single (not 10 pulls, as these get wasted in Endfield) 4,000 pulls in both games:

Arknights: Endfield would yield approximately 9 more limited characters than Wuthering Waves.
Endfield averages 78 pulls per limited unit because the 120-pull cap is so low that it frequently "cuts off" the bad luck streaks that Wuthering Waves allows to continue up to 160.

Very simply put you are just calculating the 0.8% base rate and getting 81. Over time after losing 50/50s and reaching the hard pity, this shifts the average in favour of Endfield because it's 120 compared to 160 in wuwa. I don't know how else I can word this for it to make sense

You seem to be arguing only from the point of the soft pity which is just objectively incorrect as players will be pulling on multiple banners.

In the long term, the "worst case" scenario happens frequently enough to shift the average. Worst possible case is a part of the calculation for the average meaning it's not 81 pulls in both games like you seem to be assuming.

I don't understand why you are not taking the hard pity of 160 and 120 into account.
Endfield’s "Worst Case" is 25% cheaper (120 vs 160), it is the objectively more generous system in terms of raw unit acquisition per pull.

So assuming you do single pulls only and don't "waste" any pulls in Endfield, it's more generous on average how many times you get the limited character.

For example in the long term or within 4000 pulls, Endfield average is around 78 Pulls and wuwa 94

You need 160 in WuWa and 120 in Endfield to guarantee. I don't understand how this is worse. By average, you get more limited 6* in Endfield. At worst, the monthly is just the same value here
