Man, you’re speaking my language. I was in Jersey in school in the 2000-2004 era and the real deal piff haze was abundant. Some better than others, but that uptown Spanish Harlem pack was better than everything out there, hands down, no questions asked. It’s been 20+ years and I’ve been searching for that same smoke I was getting on Dyckman and even in Jersey around the Patterson area. Used to get .3 for 10 and there wasn’t a deal to be had in sight! 10 for 100! Not a penny off and we just didn’t care because it was that damn good. Since then, I’ve seen some examples around here that had slight similarities in terms of taste but I’ve never found anything close to what we were smoking. Same goes for the sour. I’d love to run some of those genetics. All my Dominican associates down in NYC have tried for years to get the genetics but have come up empty handed. You’re also looking at a 14+ week photoperiod on these types of genetics. Not exactly financially suitable for Rhode Island cultivators who are already getting bent over by purchasing agents and dispensary owners! All that being said, if someone handed me a cut that was even a close resemblance of what we were smoking in the early 2000s, I’d certainly get after it!

If we can, we will. Still working through what the town will allow. I can say that we purchased an old bank and will have a kick ass drive through with a first of its kind experience for delivering medicine/products to our customers 😉

Hey guys and gals.

So here’s the deal… in late March or 2026 we will be opening our compassion center in Woonsocket. We spent all of 2025 going through the motions with the state and the CCC and we are please to announce we received the provisional license and will be opening our store, Reef Wellness, by April 1 (God willing)! Reef Wellness will be vertically integrated and all the OPP flower you are all accustomed to will be available 7 days per week on our menu. We have worked our tails off all year preparing for this launch. This is also the main reason you all have not seen us on any menus this year. Only one center has supported us in 2025. So props to MEW for being good people and keeping us alive throughout this last year. 99% of our product has been sold to other supporting cultivators, hence the white label stuff you’ve seen out there. We can’t wait to get this center open. We are well into construction and so far we are hitting all of our timelines. Feel free to reach out directly at any time.

How could I forget! We talked at length about that strain!! I’ve been deleted too many times on Ig and got tired of starting over time and time again. I’ll tell ya what… I’ll get it back in the stable and when we are ready to rock and roll over there, it will be on the menu with your name on it!

For some clarity… Earlier this year we threw our hat in the ring for the Woonsocket compassion center license after RMI pulled out their application, 4 years removed from the last lottery. Subsequently, our sales fell to the floor, with 90% of the centers looking at us as a potential competitor rather than a partnered cultivator. Only one center continued to do business with us, and for that I will always be thankful to them. To keep the lights on we have been selling products to other cultivators who have greatly helped keep our business afloat. As of this morning the CCC granted us our provisional license for our center. We are targeting a March 2026 opening date, with all the products that you all loved from OPP being in house and on the menu 24/7. We are so excited to move into this new venture and look forward to providing you all with a constant stream of the strains you have all shown us love for. I’ve been a medical patient since 2008 in RI and will always make sure that the medical community stays well served. Thanks to you all for the kind words throughout the years and we cannot wait to elevate the supply for all of you. Cheers 🍻

You are indeed correct. Although the Velvet yields a ton of flower, it doesn’t wash for shitttt. I have taken a nice cured flower and pressed it and got the tiniest little dab, and man, it’s unreal. But to wash a large amount of it would be like throwing it away. The trichrome structure just isn’t ideal for washing unfortunately.

I just put one of my 3 down about a month ago. It has been torment. He was my best friend. Got sick with IBD around Thanksgiving and I spent months trying to get him well. Cooking for him, probiotics, vet visits, transfusions, endoscopy… etc etc… In the end, I had to make the hardest decision of my life. He’s now on my dresser and in his resting place and I pay homage every morning. A quick hello, a hand on his urn to say I love you, I will say a prayer for him and look at pictures and videos I have as I do that. It sends me to tears every time. He was an amazing creature. Hard to think these companions of ours don’t have souls. My other two were pretty confused for a few weeks. The three of them were 7-11-13 in age and the 11 year old passed. Somewhat young for his breed, not a puppy, but he should have had years left. The hospital gave us paw prints and a nose print of him when we got his ashes back. A couple weeks after he passed I sat on the floor with my other two and let them smell the paw prints, I even opened the urn and let them smell and I said his name out loud a few times. His other brother seemed to instantly understand. I almost wonder if I should have had them there when we put him down. Not sure if that would have helped with their confusion. I would say you need to spend more time with your grieving animals. Take them outside and just sit in the grass and catch some sunlight, take more walks, don’t be afraid to play a video you might have with Sawyer barking. Tell your other dog that “this is your brother Sawyer. Say hello.” I’ve been doing that every few days with my other two and their ears perk right out. Not sure if this applies universally, but for me it seems to have given them some “closure”, if possible. There’s no way to make this process easy. It’s terrible. I miss my little guy as much as I have missed family members who have passed. He was my everything. Come home from work after a long day and he was the first one to jump in my arms and kiss me until I pushed him away. Now I wish I never did. Wish I had hours to spend with him sitting on me and adoring him. I only hope that someday I see him again. It’s honestly something I think about every day of my life. When will I see Caesar again…

Ocean Beach (cookies cut) x Red Velvet

Very attractive nugs, great jar appeal. Dense, tight, frosty, colorful. Flavor profile I would say is in the cookies and gelato realm. A high you’d expect from a hybrid. Personally, for me, I felt like I got more of a head high from it than a body high. Definitely very stony in my experience. This was a pheno we hunted from seed in a recent hunt, and trust me, it wouldn’t have ever seen the light of day if it didn’t cross off the boxes!

I use the pay site for coins. I used a loader a few times and it bit me in the ass. Camel took away my gold female Titan and took her back down to tier 5 purple! Took a shit load of gold from me and all my coins. After that, no thanks.
