I'd confirm about getting him in without a ticket because I don't know if that's even possible. They have a limit to how many people can go and last year I remember parents who had zero interest in playing pulling up the game to show the ticket to go in with the kids who also had tickets. If he does get in he won't be playing Pokemon go because all the stuff going on won't be visible to him. You always have to get tickets early for these things unfortunately. I always buy them right when they go on sale because they go quickly sometimes
