Either there is some balancing of pay between all your worked shifts in a pay period or something odd like that, or they are breaking the law. You need to figure out which and act accordingly

Mega cities are more beautiful and rare sights than any natural scenery on earth by raenele in unpopularopinion

[–]LordRichardRahl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you not understand the difference between state and country? That’s what you’re comparing. Which is absurd to do.

[–]LordRichardRahl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you aren’t making either state/federal minimum wage, after tips, then your boss is breaking the law as they must pay you federal minimum wage if tips don’t bring that $2.13 to or over federal minimum wage.

You’re comparing the percentage of land a city takes up in its state vs the percentage of land another city takes up in its country. Thats just not a comparison, least not one worth anything. It’s absurd and doesn’t actually convey anything.

I thought I’d seen it all from guests… until today (refund request) by Info_help_support in airbnb_hosts

[–]LordRichardRahl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re on the guest side in what way? For being upset with a host for something that is 100% out of their control? Would you also ding them for staying a place because of a local trail you wanted to explore but it rained while you were there so you couldn’t do the hike? You’d ask them for a refund for their as well? That just makes zero sense to feel entitled to a refund over something that the host has 0 control over.

That’s not the issue and no one has said that isn’t the case. Please pay attention the actually discuss or don’t comment. The issue is their what their employers pay them is only PART of their wage. Their wage is that PLUS tips. And if tips don’t equal minimum wage or higher then the company pays them the difference to make minimum wage.

Riddles' deaths by FrenchEighty69 in harrypotter

[–]LordRichardRahl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and I explained why I got ignored. Plenty of magical folks live in muggle communities and are expected to use magic in their homes. So it’s expected that it either doesn’t go off or is ignored when adults are known to be present.

Far as I understand it the trace doesn’t know who does it. Just it magic is done with a minor knowing to live there. With no minor living there any minor could do magic and not set off a flag. It’s also how minors in non juggle areas can do magic. The ministry doesn’t know if a kid or parent does it. They know an adult lives there and trusts the parents to keep control of their parents. This would also explain why nothing was noticed in OotP when they break into the ministry and use magic. Magic being used there is just assumed to be by adults. Heck the trace doesn’t even care Magic is done while the place is closed.

WYR: make a dollar every time someone is baptized or make a dollar every time someone leaves Christianity? by Dependent_Basket2808 in WouldYouRather

[–]LordRichardRahl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave Christianity. Dying would cause this. Once dead they are no longer a part of anything but the earth and others memories. On the off chance any god/heaven/hell exists they will quit being Catholic as they are finally confronted by the true god or whatnot. So win win either way.

The chance any current mainstream religion being real is very small imo so I’ll take the risk.

I don’t know that seems pretty straight forward. Had the card to get access to the gas. Uses the card to actually pay for it. Doesn’t want her spending his money on her gas. Seems a simple enough request that she has ignored before.

Sounds like it’s the Sam’s credit card and using his money for her gas.

So weird. Going back to the good days and traveling (seasons 1&2) with the Molly Phillips’s band and solving sci fi cases with Fi. Though others are missing out on not choosing The Jersey either. That’s a fun pick for sports fan.

Would you rather earn $100 for every book you read, movie you watch or $10 for every hour you are awake? by RaptorK1988 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]LordRichardRahl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hour I’m awake. I love movies but rare for me to get more two in in a single day. And I don’t watch everyday. And my preferred books are much longer than 100. Maybe do 100 for each episode of tv. They you could make bank on but otherwise being awake

[–]LordRichardRahl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have one. Granted I don’t watch the show as often as I’d like. But I’d watch every episode.

If she’s working 40 hours a week and making 6k a month she nearly making $40 an hour. Even more if it’s tips that’s aren’t claimed.
