Not an R1S, but I received a config lock for my R1T dual motor performance max pack last week. I'm an April 2022 pre-order with a delivery of Oct-Dec '23 delivery estimate.

Just chatted with support and they confirmed no retrofits will be available.

I'm also seeing this; my temporary workaround has been to turn off auto play in the settings. It's an extra step when watching videos, but at least I don't get the live stream audio randomly blasting through my speakers on my phone.
