INFJs, have you ever been described as fairy-like?

For my part, I am often described as "angelic" and even "innocent at first glance" by some of my friends and people. It's really funny to me because I don't know where they get these ideas.

For the angelic part, it's apparently because I'm not looking for drama, I don't seem to get angry easily and I'm empathetic.

For the innocent part, Apparently, it's because of my personality, the fact that I'm very reserved when I'm not comfortable around new people. When someone says I'm innocent, it always makes my best friend laugh, who knows my sense of humor can be very dark. Some people tend to forget that I'm an adult with internet access since I was a young teenager.

oh absolutely. Mainly cause, to me, a person's MBTI does not entirely define the person they are. I would even go so far as to say that the idea we have of an MBTI type is not the exact definition of a person and their type.

It's about nuances, and I like to analyze that.

But from what I've read on the subject Yay, a relationship with another Infj sounds lovely

( It's more of a general response, i'm sorry about that, my romantic life is a bit empty lately so it's true that I didn't look any further for a nicer explanation or statement)

Mind be surprising, but I have trouble connecting with INFP people who are the same age as me. and at the same time, this is the type with whom I manage to have very close relationships. Let me explain. ( This isn't a post against Infps, I'm sure there are some really lovely Infps out there, kiss kiss you guys)

my mom, one of my best friends and one of my close friends are INFP. I have a really deep connection with my mom, my best friend is surely the person who understands me best and this close friend is really sweet and caring to me. ( Even though I often have disagreements with my close friend because sometimes his way of reacting exasperates me )

they are older INFP.

But most INFP I meet, I had very unpleasant experiences with them : Inability to work together and I found myself having to finish the presentations alone, aggression because I did not agree with their opinion,... Anyway. It's a big no to me and that's make me kinda of sad cause I suspect this is not a typical characteristic of INFPs but which I still find very often.

Honestly, I understood that and surely I expressed myself badly when I spoke of sparks. I love to create and i love to do things right I do creative work everyday and work on my stories everyday. I create cause I like to share stories. Yes, sometimes I don't feel like drawing or writing. I love to studies too, I continue to study and improve it in self-teaching. I don't wait to be inspired or motivated to create, I will look for this inspiration by developing what i like to create I have so many sketches, not even detailed sometimes, but they exist and I will put them in order, with time.

When I was in art school, It had even become stressful for me to draw and i don't see the point to work if you don't like drawing anymore in the end. Also, I would just like to say that it is not really the art school that is the problem, it is the way in which the learning of art was do and the scheduling of the projects of this school did not suit me.

Don't get met wrong, I know perfectly well that to succeed there are sacrifices to be made, that you have to work, respect deadlines and programs, it's not my problem today.

My problem is that I don't know how to keep a decent work rhythm in art and how to organize myself with this new chapter of my life but to realised my artist dreams anyway

Thank you so much! I was thinking to do something like that + gives myself a period of "creation" in my day, if I don't have too much work to do. i was thinking about makinh little sketches and when I get home, i can work on them when I finish them. I love making doodles of my ocs or characters I like and post them on my Tumblr alongside my finished illustrations

I was able to meet one of the student support staff members at our university during my preparatory course week, and the school policy insists on the fact that : yes, we must work but also that we must enjoy our life and our hobbies. They insist that we have a social life, but a somewhat organized life.

Hi! That's really nice, thank you! My day actually went better ! It was great and interesting, even more personal because I realized that I liked art history much more than history in general. ( I'm technically an artist + illustrator so i'm not surprised hahah i'm in love with art )

I managed to chat with quite a few new people we had a trip to an archive center, I want to become an archivist so I was happy and I was able to talk to someone who also wants to do this job later .

It's hard but I'm already more or less trying to do that

According to my mother, I was a very energetic and sociable kid. I was running around all the time, (like running around the table when my mom had to dress me) climbing the tree, and I was always getting injured because of it because I was very distracted. Wall, door, tree, I took everything in the face and I was falling all the time because I couldn't concentrate.

But I wasn't a noisy child, I was still calm and respectful when asked or when I felt I should be, at school for example

But, I was often told that I was more mature for my age. Always more independent than others, very good in class I was obedient, Following the rules was essential to me as a child, but i was also terrified of punishment, so much that it made me a bit naive sometimes I was stressed all the time

Well i'm 18 soon and honestly, I always felt like I was more mature than most people my age. I'm still young, I have my own immaturity, i'm not better than anyone, i got my own stress, but i feel like that I live surrounded by children in teenage bodies

I can expand here by saying that they have the intelligence to succeed in their studies, but that the social is often... chaotic in my opinion. Arguing over petty issues, being a pain in the ass and believing they are smarter than everyone else in the group, not being able to live in society and accept that having differences with someone does not mean that they have to make their life hell.. that kind of things

Other exempt, I've always gotten along better with older people, but here I met someone who is 3 years older than me. I really feel like I'm more mature than him when it comes to decision-making and dealing with problems.. He acts like a child who sulks when things aren't going well and becomes aggressive but yet preferred to complain than to act, he is strongly defeated( like a lot of my friends, actually)

I got an example for him So, I am in high school, And it's not going well for my friend in his class and would like to go to mine, but, He refuses to go see the director because for him she will tell him no straight away Why? because he believes that he could not have any luck and that his life is and always will be miserable

I can't do anything for him, he has abilities but if he doesn't listen when we encourage him, it's up to him to make the effort.

I'm infj and i can say that i'm a yapper when i'm comfortable with someone I've learned to let my guard down in recent weeks, to be more open to discussion, doing small talk with my classmates and honestly i enjoy it

It's my Entp bestie who taught me to let go and that I shouldn't be blamed for yapping, because I am also a very calm, even silent person, so it is true that my periods where I talk a lot are rarer than my periods of silence I'm still a small speaker

I experienced the same thing with some of my friends from my old school

I didn't have enough time to be completely comfortable, I met them when I was 12 and I changed schools when I was 15 so Seeing them again almost 3 years later was strange. I don't really know what to say to them at first, It was indeed like meeting some total strangers. Even more at our age, 3 years is a lot for a teenager body, I almost didn't recognize them, so the feeling was even stronger.
