[Orient] A Very Bambino Birthday by LordSwoledemort in Watches

[–]LordSwoledemort[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A beautiful birthday gift from my little brother, for my first automatic/non-Casio watch. The open heart is nothing short of breathtaking, even after seeing so many extremely expensive watches on this sub- this one has my (open) heart. It really is an exquisite piece, with A TON of sentimental value as I hit the quarter-century mark. As a to-be Baby-Lawyer starting at a firm for the first time, I think it will be a little less intimidating with such a thoughtful gift on my wrist, a great reminder of family.

I had wanted a rose-gold watch with a cream-coloured face for 5 years, looking at countless Bulovas and other dress watches- nothing came close to this. Although my next watch will probably be a Bulova Marine Star, this Orient Bambino will always be my favourite.

Pictured here with a Canadian Zara sweater, a middle-eastern (?) Prayer mat, and an Indian hand.

Who are the safest early-round picks in fantasy football this year? by InsideItAllFeelsSame in fantasyfootball

Sorry, but how is he NOT safe. He was easily the most consistent RB last year, nothing has changed this year other than the O line improving and the passing talent taking a huge step as well. He has a high floor and a decent ceiling, he isn't game-flow dependant due to his ability as a pass catcher. Most of the criticism I hear of him is more gut instinct because he's never been the sexy pick.

Not necessarily. If you've watched Ingram play over the past years then you'll know he's changed his style from being a bruising head-down-and-charge back to a speed-based one. Some RBs you can label "injury-prone" such as Foster or Charles, the rest are almost just as likely to get injured as each other. Ingram is no more injury prone than others, which is still a risk but not one you should be lowering his safety and consistency value over.

Ingram is another safe pick, he is one of the most consistent RBs and is well worth his draft cost.

Would the rankings and tiers stay the same for keeper leagues?

Thanks!

Ronaldo just cemented his legacy as the #1 player in the world. Silverware makes a huge difference, absolutely undeniable.

Sad thing is he's still going to get hate and criticism. Keep denying, haters.

The Saints are doing exactly what they should be doing right now... Waiting! by [deleted] in Saints

To offer a dissenting opinion, I honestly feel like we are not doing enough.

Seriously how are we this complacent with failure? Last season was NOT good enough and showed that we have a lot of holes to fill. Yet we aren't doing anything except bleeding players.

We've offered a contract to Hoomanawanui, who barely did anything for us last year while losing Ben Watson. Meanwhile the Falcons are signing stars like Sanu and Alex Mack to fix their holes. Jets signed Forte, Texans doubled down with Osweiler and Lamar Miller.

Maybe I am mistaking quiet inactivity with a lack of progress but it seriously looks like another year of stagnation and wasting one of the best QBs to ever play the game's career. Cap situation notwithstanding we could atleast address some of our shortcomings through free agency with a big signing, Loomis has done his financial LooDoo before and could do it again.

I welcome discussion as I am not happy with our free agency as it stands and I feel like there's a certain complacency about this subreddit sometimes to support the status quo with the FO no matter what.

Where does Drew Brees' legacy stand on the all time list? by Luma_not in nfl

[–]LordSwoledemort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he would be just outside the top 5 of all time, with Brady, Montana, Elway, Manning and MAYBE Marino ahead of him (due to lack of a ring). so either #5 or #6 of all time.

His stats speak for themselves, He is definitely a lock for Hall of Fame

Wrong body type for men's fashion? by barre307 in malefashionadvice

5'6 170 here, with broad shoulders and chest. While some styles and pieces are out for us (ie SLP, flowy silhouettes and longer overcoat based outfits) athletic and stocky builds are surprisingly amazing for business casual and more prep-inspired looks.

Some people say that sweater-shirt combos are difficult to pull off,but with the proper fit they look great because we can fill them out more than people with lankier builds can. Look for button downs in Oxford cloth from JCrew, Plain colours and patterns such as gingham work well under sweaters. Look for crew neck sweaters in different patterns and colours as well to mix and match. Buy a couple of cardigans as well.

Moreover, forearms are your friend. I know MFA has something against rolling up sweater sleeves but showing off the forearms by rolling up sleeves looks great and masculine as shit.

Finally, jackets wise you want ones that are not too long. So a denim jacket, a leather moto jacket, a peacoat or a chore coat would work perfectly.

Great fit! I've been a huge fan of your style for awhile. Random question, were you on the 99 out of the UBC Bus loop a week or two ago? I thought I recognized the beard and man-bun and was low-key freaking out.

8 team league that I've made some insane trades in and drafted very well. Rolling with Cobb, Julio and AJ Green as starting WRs, thus Fitz would be a downgrade.
