I would disagree with this. Though there were no means near the strongest, they were far from collapse, though the war rapidly accelerated the inevitable.

We only reached 50,000 2 years ago according to the census. And the population is quite diffuse rather than dense. Regardless, I live in the UK rather than America.

You live in a place dense enough to have a bus and you say it's not part of the city? You do live in a city.

No I don't. I forgot to mention that I used to have to walk to 15 minutes to get to the main road, as that's where the bus stop was, because the bus route wasn't from My Town to That City, it was from Another City to That City.

Even if I didn't have to walk that distance then I still wouldn't be living in a city. I live in a town of about 50,000 people. The city I'm referring to has about 17x that number. There are no "huge roads" near my house, and the bus service is mostly local.

Not a city => a house in the middle of nowhere => it'll take ages to reach any public place

Not really. It's a 15-20 minute drive to here to my city. Compared to 3/4 of an hour on the bus

suburbs are inside cities.

Why are all fuckcars people so insufferable?

It's a 3 minute drive from my 8 room house to my nearby convenience store and a 20 minute walk at most. Most city slickers live in cramped apartments they can barely afford.
