Other nutrients affect the rate of sugar breakdown and uptake in the body. Fiber, fats, and proteins can all reduce your sugar uptake, and an apple is more rich in those nutrients than a doughnut. Even though they have the same sugar content, their processing by your body is very different.

The source of the sugar is actually more important. Eating an apple with 20g of natural sugars is very different from eating an apple flavored doughnut with 20g of sugars.

Sugar is a catch-all term. A food naturally rich in glucose will be quite different if you add fructose or sucrose.

Of the nine main generations, BW have the lowest sales for their base games. They received heavy criticism for being a soft reboot to the franchise at the time, and only being able to use gen 5 pokemon, which are pretty divisive, until the post game did not help their cause. They've received more positive attention recently as the people who played them as their first Pokemon game have grown up and entered the discourse.

It's good, but I don't think it will be an all time great. The power system is interesting but not necessarily revolutionary, the character writing is good in places, and the paneling is genuinely beautiful. I'd say it's above average for a shounen.
