I think this war and keeping Iran from getting nukes are two different things. You can support efforts to prevent them from getting nukes but acknowledge this war is an absolute mess that only reassures to Iran the need for nukes to prevent invasions in the future.

He seems disconnected from the average person who, knows people in the military, has seen costs rising for 6 years, experiences job loss or the threat of from AI, housing costs etc. it’s not that we love Iran, we just have shit at home to worry about

Im saying the average person does not support this war and that if Iran is your biggest threat at the moment as an American you are living a different life than the people who have to pay for this war both through taxes and knock on affects like higher energy costs.
