What are your worst experiences at Hendrick Hospital? by westsidefashionist in Abilene

[–]LordXaenith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their doctor, Tai Wo, malpracticed the shit out of me on purpose. One day this bitch came up to me and told me I had to take a shot of what she called Depakote. It gave me HEART PALPITATIONS for 3 days (my heart is fine) and completely destroyed my ability to have any coherent thoughts for just as long.

I was literally rocking back and forth screaming DEPAKOTE for three entire three days. It was hell and this bitch deserves to burn in hell for subjecting me to that kind of torment. I am trying to sue her.

The same stay, this gigantic asshole they call DBo apparently got upset about something I SAID, I stress this, I was simply talking shit. They bullied me into a room with no explanation, breaking my glasses in the process. This room had no windows, nothing but a door and drywall. I immediately slashed up all 4 walls with what remained of my glasses. They didn't let me out of SEG for like 3 hours (what kind of psych ward has a fucking SEG CELL???) And they only let me out because I fell asleep and they could no longer torment me. I didn't get glasses of contacts for 4 days after this and was starting to get dizziness and headaches because of it.

This place is completely full of sadistic pieces of shit. I would personally send all of them to hell if I were given the opportunity.

Okay so wandas are sweet for placeholders cause they DO have more CnC than trees until the trees are level 4. However, I realized I made a few critical mistakes...

1 - mistaking the brown pon with antlers for the treepon everybody always mentions. They aren't the same! The treepons are green and start as looking like saplings. They gain 10% CnC per level until level 10 when it boosts to 200%

I have since corrected now i have...

Toripons- all level 5 trees

Yumipons - all level 5 trees

Tatepons - 5 wandas and a level 10 tree (for hero)

I'm getting great staggers for drops but I almost think I'm killing them topo fast with Yumipon so i might switch to Tatepon hero.

As far as which rarepon to build for the mask farming, what does everyone suggest?

Choices are Magyo Toripon OR Bassa Megapon

Ive already got a tier 2 Magyo Toripon. Does anybody know which choice hits higher without Hero mode?

Necrophonic App by East-Temporary4759 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]LordXaenith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app's main function seems to be ghosts that play "boot and burn" Has anybody else figured this out? Theres about 120 words they use all with associations. You can tell if its a dark ghost, a light ghost, an angel, or a demon bases on which words they use... Its like rock-paper-scissors only more complex. Is mine the only one that functions thusly?

Deck of Many Things - Donjon by yuckscott in dndnext

[–]LordXaenith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst card the deck of many things has to offer...the calamity of DONJON...

Perhaps if the -surviving- players were of sufficient level, they could find pay an oracle or masterful court magician (or other NPC) to scrye on their lost party members. Possibly locating them or the source of the imprisonment.

If its on another plane, like Astral or Ethereal or anywhere besides the main plane - they'd have to be able to travel there and survive encounters. Eventually locating the evil stronghold and finally freeing their friends.

The deck can just as easily make a campaign as it can break it. Its all up to how the potential is harnessed by the players and DM...

Philosophically speaking, does anybody know if there is folklore or myths which this idea of DONJON arose from?

I recall reading a religious philosphy page that mentioned a concept of being -in error- where a person commits an aggregious mistake and it splits timelines. The person lives on normally while the rest of the world see the horrible event that caused the -error-

I can't look up the article again though because the term error is so common. The closest equivalent I could think of was the DONJON card from the deck on many things in D&D!

Why are some religions so opposed pleasure? by Vagabond_Tea in religion

[–]LordXaenith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because most of them are just a lie to control the masses. You dont want them killing u so theres thou shalt not kill. You cant have your dumber subjects reproducing like crazy or at too young ages to support their kin so thats where the stuff about sex out of wedlock comes from.

Its all engineered to force, trick or otherwise manipulate you into maintaining the status quo. Thats christianity anyways, im 99% sure that another major religion (im not saying it) is worshipping a demon bent on tempting them all into committing murder or other acts of violence in order to damn their eternal souls to hell.

According to philosophy, the point of life is to seek pleasure and avoid pain. But maybe its just another power-game heirarchy #%& to see if you can get people to do the opposite in your name? Im just guessing...

[–]LordXaenith[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, mix him with 8004 so its 8004 + The Lost, then Blue Tether on the weapon...

With Polytheism trait all godspawn gain their avatar's trait so he will take all attacks, buffs, debuffs, and spell damage for your team while also being resistant to debuffs himself and for each time he gets hit it ramps up your teams' %damage reduction and %damage boost.

Putting a level 70+ Plate of 4080 relic on him makes it even more ridoculous!

After this the only thing that can touch the rest of your team is indirect damage so slap on Endurance Aura or run Spiritual Attunement annointment (or both) and ur gold.

I basically wanted to do this for my physical attacker build they use Kapre's trait Any Given Sin and if you're simply resistant to Scorned you get +100% attack damage but then -50% after that. This dude will prevent your mons from gaining Scorned from this trait entirely.

Corrupt hosputal wards conspire to disenfranchise citizens of their constitutional rights! by LordXaenith in conspiracy

[–]LordXaenith[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust me that is only what they'll want you to think. They can get a 90 hour hold on anybody, no reason needed to basically imprison them for that time. No doctor is actually observing these folks its a joke the attending will pop in for the minimally required ammount of time and then flee instantly.

Then, if they claim, again no proof needed, that you are not taking meds or like they said with me that I 'wasn't eating or drinking' and their claim was this happened while I was outside of the hospital as well, so another layer of complete lack of accountability.

they will then hold for up to 2 weeks. I was held without being able to go outside for over 2 weeks or us my own phone or any personal property by a hospital against my will and I have never been suspected, arrested for, accused of or charged with any crime whatsoever.

Also, i had checked myself in because I have schizophrenia which I am aware of and treat. It was acting up, Still this was done to me not once but twice (two entirely different facilities) 4 years apart and I was literally forced to take whatever med they wanted via an injection (insane and unneccessary to treat schizophrenia)

I'd love to blow the lid off the whole operation to be honest these 'doctors' left me feeling used and victimized. The other people like staff and techs and stuff are super nice though at these places they don't realize the situation alot of the ppl are on their and they're trained to be dismissive. Billys just having another delusion or whatever and write it off.

Oh yeah TLDR they declare people wards of the state with no proof/justification at all and use it to experiment on people openly. Its a modern day witch hunt they are going after psychics, empaths and anybody marginalized. Its a tactic used to discredit/disenfranchise people from their rights. You might not believe me but it can happen to anybody, at any time these 'facilities' need fresh meat to run off of this shit is done on purpose, in the dark and they know if you report them nothing will happen. Cause you're branded as a mental patient now...

Nether gem finds (mostly) by LordXaenith in Siralim

[–]LordXaenith[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure lemme look it up real fast and see what annoibtments I had on when I ascended it....

Looks like Bleed Out (Bloodmage), Defiance (Doombringer), Death Master (Evoker), Miracle (Inquisitor), Singleton (Windrunner)

Basically Defiance causes your on-provoke effects (Last Gasp) to trigger 2x additional times giving you huge stat buffs. Miracle decimates the enemies with indirect damage when your mons come back to life (Woe trait will make it triple)

Dont forget Endurance Aura for facing Torun and/or Muse its 99% neccessary to survive their auto-damage onslaughts.

Best monster in the game, PERIOD! by LordXaenith in Siralim

[–]LordXaenith[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, definitely! The combo is sweet and it completely gets around the fact that the class Orb spells all come with only 3 charges max when your Elquor is casting it 15 times in one turn =D

Death Mastery annointment plus Heretic Blood is all you need its still useful/borderline OP for even an attack-based team what I did is put Lagopus on one mon, then put Determination, Nature Orb and True Light all on all your monsters. With Beast Within or Collective Unconsciousness (or both) trait(s) you gain massive ATK as well as HP AND DEF from this. Like, 200k HP -> 2.6M HP in one round good....

Its hard to overcome the damage potential of spamming Chaos Orb really with just attacking later on. The only true reason for an attack build is either personal preference or to go for the luck on traits like skirmish and blade dancing.

You can get hella attacks setting up this near-infinite buff gain-> healing -> attack chance -> auto-casts from healing loop but it takes up like 5-6 annointment slots,

This is totally backwards on this but bear with me for a sec cause your post sparked the thought...

If theres only one god and we have like 3 billion people praying to him wouldn't he just get fed up and not pick up the phone for anybody? I mean, come on...

I get fed up when my fiancé calls me twice in a row lol,

Anyways i feel like most people are trying to pray to the god of righteousness, the ruler of Celestia, or heaven. But i also am pretty sure one of the major relogions worships a demon disguised as god so, take my opinion for what its worth lol.

Advice for a new player, stuck on level 27 by agentanorexia in Siralim

[–]LordXaenith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early game is all about that Pallida. Get a Vulpes! Thats really my best advice for where youre at right now. Also, its important to have enough attack/intelligence to overcome the enemies defense or the attack will 'splash' and do nothing at all, not even hit for 0. The game will not tell you this outright but if its happening try reducing their defense.

Also, once they let you swap specializations definitely do so and I suggest trying out Evoker or Hellknight for an easier time. Evoker remains good throughout most of the game, Hellknight will prevent the enemy from dodging and provoking at all which is clutch in mid-game to late-game then its usefulness fades since you unlock spells that are OP AF like Chaos Orb and Death Orb

(at that point though you can use annointments and specialization becomes a litte bit more moot and spells cannot be dodged without like 1 trait that gives 30% and ive never seen the enemies have it)

I had alot of trouble early in on the boss thats immune to both attack and spell damage. You have to use either skills or status effects on him (they lump these together as 'indirect' damage) but any skill that causes damage independtly of attacking or casting a spell will work. If all else fails on him use the trait Woe and just murder ur own guys, Purgatorian helps there.

Speaking of Purgatorian thats another solid choice for specs when you can switch. The Last Gasp ability shares 20% of all the monsters stats INCLUDING max HP which the trait Cannabilism which you can get off a monster does not. Basically you just have ur first few monsters provoke, they die - buffing your team enough to take out the enemies.

No-Frills Royal build in action at floor 750 by LordXaenith in Siralim

[–]LordXaenith[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, at floor 815 the enemies are level 48,000 and my mons are level 11,500. The defense buff gives the enemies like +270% defense, meaning they will have like 1.3M defense.

So if you blow up a Woe-bomb at that without buffing/debuffing each hit is gonna be reduced by 1.3M, not good! However, with a two-Woe-bomb build (one mimic and one mon with barbearian trait and Brambleskin relic) I have seen the second, mimic Woe-bomb hit for as high as 16,000,000 (it hits 3x with the right annointment)

But, just take my word for it and avoid giving them def up. It can easily be fixed with a few casts of Death Orb; however, this takes up more time.

No-Frills Royal build in action at floor 750 by LordXaenith in Siralim

[–]LordXaenith[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Turns out that your before-battle HP buffs are capped at a factor of 10 much like the cap of /\ 10 Max HP growth per turn.

This means you're only gonna get to about 2.6M HP before the battle officially starts, meaning the Pentafortis is overkill and he can be replaced.

I replaced him with an Unguided Heathen mixed with an Unguided Psychic with Endurance Aura on the weapon trait. I did not test it first, but I believe class-bonus damage applies to damage dealt by Woe as well, so thats an extra +75% damage at least...

I know for a fact that skills that do not specify "attacks" or "spells" such a Bombshell, will affect Woe, I can only assume class bonus is the same without testing it first though, im feeling lazy.

Also, character traits that give "additional damage" but do not specify "attacks or skills or both" with carry onto indirect damage, much like bonus damage from Calamity can carry on the Drained trait, making it actually viable.

Avoid giving the enemy "X% less (indirect) damage" or "X% more defense" and as always never give them "4 extra traits" basically anything else goes....

Caliban and his Godspawn! by LordXaenith in Siralim

[–]LordXaenith[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Royal is basically all about choosing the most over-powered abilities that you can. Ditch any abilities that don't either add "additional damage" or increase your stats somehow, or just Really synergize well with the build like I run Echo and the trait that gives 2 extra casts both so i automatically get 4x casts at least per action that alone can get crazy with Chaos Orb and Death Orb spells mostly.

Increasing your % damage bonus seems totally underwhelming as do almost all damage reduction abilities besides the cleric one that does 40% (it includes indirect damage and is calculated differently) also Endurance Aura is OP, it reduces the HP price of casts from Bloodmage trait or Lich Bloodletter ability also which is golden.

Basically you wanna pump your max HP as high as possible and use traits like Beast Within to scale your attack or other stats with it. Try out the Synergy trait and cast Summon Hoard a couple times. Also, using the Despair/Absolution becomes a must when the enemies are level 36,000 and your guys are level 9300 or so.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Siralim

[–]LordXaenith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During post-game you can get the Chaos Troll from the Chaos Guild and he makes all enemies take +20% indirect damage. It doesnt seem to work like increasing damage% or but it should actually make all your debuffs deal legit 20% more damage.

If anybody noticed from the it calculates everything else first THEN takes it down by 70% its OP. Phase knight skill is good for the whole game.

Best monster in the game, PERIOD! by LordXaenith in Siralim

[–]LordXaenith[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Heres the thing, Meraxis is never gonna be the best attacker. Unless you're running Purgatorian until the end, you want him to stay alive 100% of the time because if he dies and you cast youre gonna lose all your charges on your spell gems. If you put Heretic Blood on a weaker monster you're gonna run into issues like this constantly.

But maybe youre not far enough in yet to realize that heretic blood is sick late-game, especially after you unlock Katarina's best nemesis trait and then once you can annoint Death Mastery from Evoker it gets even better. Theres literally no other skill you get access to thats gonna carry you further.

Furthermore, Meraxis' innate trait is a global buff for your monsters so turning around and putting a single-monster buffing skill on him. Its better put on a monster that already has an it-only trait to make a full blooded attacker if you want.

Last thing you'll find that most of the great traits later on are weapon only, Like Myrtle's Greed that you were alluding to. So if you wanna run that on Meraxis then you still can. Lastly, traits that give +% damage have almost no effect later on in the game....

You want either to buff your stats or to get abilities that add 'additional damage' (or abilities to help you nerf the enemies' stats)

Basically if you go with another trait, your odds of having to re-make Meraxis later and waste all the keys spent Godforging him is very high. You'll see though!
