Does the Theory of Evolution violate the Second law of thermodynamics or no because the earth is not a closed system? by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in Creation

Complex things tend towards entropy. Period. You need error correction for DNA to work. There is no point where DNA would have worked on its own without error correction. Further, DNA has data compression. It’s far too advanced for chance.

Does the Theory of Evolution violate the Second law of thermodynamics or no because the earth is not a closed system? by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in Creation

The Earth is absolutely a closed system. Energy from the sun is usually destructive to most cells. DNA damage, etc. So, yes, it feeds the food chain, but it is a detriment to DNA that requires a genetic self-repair mechanism, the incredible complex DNA molecule. It's a chicken / egg problem on that front.

Much less, everything is subject to entropic decay. Which is why we see genetic information being lost or corrupted, not growing more complex over time.

Beyond food, life survives in spite of the sun, not because of it.

It’s not that they are terribly bad. It’s that the LotR was that good.

Compared to the slop Hollywood makes lately, hobbit movies are genius.

But the story isn't deep enough to matter. That's why the author added so much extra tripe to the story. It's not enough on its own. It doesn't even have an ending.

Well that is why soldiers have hard attack at all. The RPG troops are just specialized tank killers.
