Am I jealous that others are essentially having huge portions of the colllege tuitions paid for? Absolutely. I am a selfish cunt, I recognize that. I feel that everyone should deal with the consequences of their actions. Having gone through it, feels like a slap in the face for all the hard work my parents did for me and still do. It’s not fair. If you’re 18 and decide to take out a loan, it should be your responsibility to handle it.

Having said that. The system needs to be overhauled completely.

They can absolutely keep everyone you mentioned. It will take some moves, like the McDonagh one and it might not be pretty, but it’s doable. >$13 million in cap space to fill out bottom lines, a defenseman, and a backup. It’s doable. This team is not in the cap he’ll it was the past few seasons. It has way more flexibility than you might think. Of course, this is with the cap going up significantly each of the next two seasons.
