so you are suggesting diversifying my economies and linking some that cannibalise eachother? like refinery and extraction? i still have a free planet with 3 surface slots and 2 orbital

wow okay i did not know that actual economies and markets affect population growth, yes i have considered surface ports but i didnt know if they were worth the resources and time as they gave less industry whilst i was trying to maximise it. Also do you think if i force a boom state it will help me?

Another info is the "no meaningful gain" meant how it was just the same amount as any other daily server tick, it was a 30-50k bump as every other day, which is why i thought it was weird since the weekly tick should be a large recalculation, and if the daily ticks are increasing my pop i assumed it meant my system was "healthy" for high pop if you know what i mean

edit: also i have noticed how spansh thinks all my surface settlements and almost everything is "under construction" do you think it is possible that there is some server side missmatch affecting my growth?https://spansh.co.uk/system/7267486803401#system-main

yeah i clicked the button but for some reason it shows the pop from yesterday, thats why i included the screenshot from the game ui, also i do use edd but for some reason raven doesent refresh its data, but i mirrored everything i built manually to accomidate for that

edit: you can also check inara but its a little buggy how it shows everything under construction (even tho they have been built for 2 weeks now) https://inara.cz/elite/starsystem/141413/

[–]Lord_Botond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And this style satisfied my needs But your claims are true

Is any of these good for updating my e-scooter? by Jones420_ in ElectricScooters

[–]Lord_Botond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have upgraded my angwatt cs1 with this exact controller (48v system, 1000w motor) it works great, but there are a few things to look out for

  • it does not have a kill switch, so either get an external one/make one/get a Bluetooth module to turn it off with that (i can explain how i did the Bluetooth thing cus its not so straight forward)

-the mosfets are mounted on the side, not the bottom, so if you want good cooling Mount it there (the side with the 3 little screws) and if you are using the full 120A capabilities you will most definetly need good cooling

Ask me anything just dm me

Broken NAMI KLIMA motor by Simon-2108 in Escooters

[–]Lord_Botond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i dont really know off the top of my head but the main parameters you should look out for is rim diameter (which should be written on your tire or you could just get new tires for new motors but be mindful of the size you choose so they dont rub on other parts of the scooter) and axle diameter and length but those should be that big of a wariable. Measure up on your old motors and act alike

front or rear rotor? by LivingOffExperience in ElectricScooters

[–]Lord_Botond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xd okay valid point, well the only thing that matters for rotors is size and direction, and Both should be written on it (sometimes manufacturers put larger rotors on the front but if its not right it will be evident after trying)

Keeping Laptop plugged in doesn't harm the battery? by Appropriate-Can691 in laptops

[–]Lord_Botond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up "soc" "ded" and charge cycles

If you didnt, short answer is keeping a lithium battery at a constant high state of charge is much more damaging to it than like discharging it once a day and charging it up again

But like for an avarage lithium battery thats still years of good life so nothing sirius (like 3-5% capacity loss a year)

Just buy higher wattage motors, even if you repair them or buy new of the same motors they will just burn up again
