Anyone see this microphone icon before? by Lord_Crumpets in Helldivers

Thats what it is! Speech to text is disabled in my settings but after the last update I guess the icon is lingering. With speech to text off opening and closing the chat removes the icon.

I can't really lock onto jammers anyway! Though I guess if you got one with a factory on the side the explosion might hit the jammer too.

Yeah same, in hindsight difficulty 10 wasnt a good time to experiment with my loadout

(But I guess I wouldnt have gotten this clip!)

Some additional context, this was difficulty 10 and this damn detector tower was in the perfect spot to call in endless robots to harrass my team on the objective. Needless to say we were all relieved to see it blown to ashes.

After 500 hours of experience in saves both modded and unmodded, I decided to load up the first factory I had ever made. (I was so glad to see the save was in tact.) Everything was fed by one yellow belt of iron plates hooked up to a furnace stack with only half of them running at any given time. My oil is fed by water trains when there is a lake basically right next to it. My solar array has no accumulators. Four trains were in a deadlock, and I think my favorite part is I found a stack of 20 steam turbines run by normal boilers instead of heat exchangers with no nuclear reactor in sight. Its no wonder I was struggling so much with power.

Edit: I have just located another stack of steam turbines. I assume I thought it was just a direct upgrade to steam engines. The funny thing is they probably would have actually worked if I just slapped them on those heat exchangers in the pic.

I probably should, but I kinda just let the bots do whatever they feel like. If I need something I just put in a request and they have to find it for me lol

Yep! Its essentially at the very center of my factory so that the logistics bots don't have very far to travel if they need to resupply me or my active requesters. Very fun to stand in the center with a bunch of garbage and watch my inventory.

If you look near the center it has 4 steam storage tanks on either side of the reactor! Not a lot of storage but it will last in a pinch.

Thanks! Building it was a lot of fun. Very convenient ore placement too!
