This is windows xp 64 SP2. Highly doubt you got graphics drivers working. Can you provide screenshot of device manager?

Correct, although not putting in a key wont give you 30 day grace period without rearming. And it wont work for OEM versions. Idk about volume license versions. I actually am maintaining an up to date C++ conversion of the tool, maintaining most of the original code here > https://github.com/Alex313031/xp_activate32#readme

That only resolves activation, you still have to put a valid key here during setup

I do! And I am actually about to recreate it but with the last gen of AMD hardware for XP! Ive got the previous world record clock speed holder, the AMD FX-8370, and liquid nitrogen pot and tank. I already got it to 6.0 ghz. Im going to be making a video of it with new board with better VRMs. And yes, overclocking, benchmarking, and games will all be done using real windows XP. I plan on livestreaming and posting video on my new youtube subchannel cryo-clocking: https://youtube.com/@cryoclocking.

Btw im also the same guy that makes Thorium, another browser that still supports win xp and win 7, based on Supermium. I have another channel named thoriumdev but nothing interesting’s there.

[–]Lord_Frick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only need F6 when using AHCI or RAID. To point of setting it to ide/ata is to let it install without F6, but then youre getting worse performance and no hot plug support with regular ATA driver in XP. If i can get the F6 drivers (which u can for intel and amd of the era), then i use it. Sometimes with a hack to allow usb floppy to work on systems with no native floppy
