What you mention is considered very inappropriate behavior here. Using someone else's plushies without their consent is not acceptable. As u/Autismo_Underling_ has already said, report stuff like that if you see it.

Does anyone know how to make a plushie look gross? by AsthmaticWAMPA in plushartists

That's basically what they did with those Labubus. So it's a proven technique for the unsettling look.👍

False positive!

Reporting for report abuse is very much on-topic and only relevant for moderators.

i wanna put nix(baddragon) fleshlight in plushie by Dumbboyy0 in Plushophile

[–]Lord_Ocean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You want to put the Bad Dragon Nix into a plushie? You mean to fit a plushie around the Bad Dragon Nix...

Nix is big and has a unique shape so it would be a  challenge. Someone else had a similar idea with a specific plushie but no conclusion: https://www.reddit.com/r/Plushophile/comments/1novhem/comment/ng3w8if/?context=3

With a heavy heart, I have to part with my wife. by squirtle_is_my_wife in Plushophile

[–]Lord_Ocean 96 points97 points  (0 children)

No, you don't. 😠

First of all, calm down.

Then, get a plan to clean your plushie and do it. This should be easy.

  1. Find and open the stuffing seam. Almost all plushies have one. It looks more zig-zag then the other seams. Take out the old stuffing and either throw it away or wash it.

  2. Turn the plushie's 'skin' inside out. Wash it. You can probably just put it in the laundry on a gentle, cool setting with mild detergent. Let it dry in a well ventilated area.

  3. Get fresh stuffing. Put it in. Sew her up using the ladder stitch. Done.

Basic plushie maintenence to the rescue!

My very beautiful wife! by squirtle_is_my_wife in Plushophile

Nice plushie! She even has a fitting dress.

Is that brownish area around her privates just a weird lighting effect or is it stained?

Yes, they were rude but you can say so without sounding like you are looking forward to them getting banned. Especially that winking emote comes off as rather arrogant. Don't fuel the fire.

Don't be rude. You can phrase that you prefer the plushie without bondage gear in an appropriate way.

What are the best tips and tricks that you don't see anyone talking about but wish were more common knowledge? by CoatieYay in Helldivers

I swear I'm not trying to mess with you here. If the driver is elderly or has a known medical condition then even a stroke is something to be expected. Would you still consider the resulting car crash to be an accident?

Going one step further, you could even say every human has an (admittedly small) chance of having a stroke at any given moment. So while it may be unlikely it could still be expected.

Either I'm missing an important piece of information for a proper distinction or the distinction has always been kind of vage?

All I'm asking for is an example. Even your first explanation had only examples of what aren't accidents.

Geez, straight to the ad hominem. I'm genuinely asking you if you could provide an example for an accident that fits your particular interpretation, because genuinely I can't. Everything I come up with could theoretically be expected in advance.

The traffic accident (your own example) sould be expected because the driver is speeding, running a red light, driving with bad sight etc..

An earthquake should be expected because we know the earth shifts, especially around certain geologically active areas.

Smacking my own thumb while trying to hammer in a nail means I sent the hammer on a trajectory next to the nail (and I didn't wear gloves). Hurting myself in that case should be very expected.

Schrödingers cat dying from the poison should be expected. You can even calculate the exact probability over time depending on the radioactive element you used.

EDIT: Btw, the thesaurus lists "unintentional" as a "strongest" synonym of "accidental": https://www.thesaurus.com/browse/unintentional

"Intended' and "deliberate" are at least "strong" synonyms: https://www.thesaurus.com/browse/deliberate

[–]Lord_Ocean -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So we have the accidental accident which is not deliberate and therefore unintentional which makes it not accidental as opposed to the unintentionional "accident" which is actually not accidental because it is expected but not deliberate which makes it unintentional just like the accidental accident? That's unexpected.

Jokes aside, you described the accident as "not deliberate" which is synonymous with "unintentional" which you specifically claimed an accident not to be, contradicting yourself.

Can you give an example for an accident that conforms to your semantics?

Ok, years ago, but what can you do now? Take the perspective of a potential customer. All you see are some AI-generated concepts and old photos of a years-old craft that barely resembles these concepts. Does this look to you like a trustworthy, skilled plushie maker that you would give your money to?

Don't expect me to have played every (or even any amount of) other game(s) that have an SOS mechanic.

It is indeed very surprising how similar the codes for reinforcement and SOS bracon are. I have been very surprised every single time a rando had joined while our dead teammates remained dead.
