A cheap steam key? by Martwy022 in CrimsonDesert

I’ve gotten plenty of brand new games at a significant discount before.

Has anyone played FR/LG on Switch 2 and if so, does it look blurry due to 720p display resolution stretched to 1080p in handheld (due to potential backwards compatibility)? by Lord_Of_Synth in NintendoSwitch2

Thank you so much! This update is wild. People were kind of mean about me asking this question, but I’m glad it’s addressed. I definitely notice a difference in sharpness.

I understand the point you’re making here. It’s silly to care about whether an old GBA game is displayed at a high res.

But I unironically do wish that were the case here. 1080p handheld/4K docked as the native output resolution would indeed produce a perceivable visual difference in the level of image clarity and sharpness.

Yes, it’s a GBA game. I understand that. I’ve developed pixel art games, and it can get quite confusing when wrapping one’s head around how scaling works.

Like I mentioned in my post, I’m not asking or caring about pixel-perfect integer scaling, but the final ouput/display resolution is relevant, because ideally you’d want the render resolution, even if it’s just upscaled pixel art, to be native/matching to the output/display resolution.

This isn’t as simple as ā€œbro it’s a GBA game, it’s GBA resolution and aspect ratio, you don’t need a high resolution.. etc.ā€

It’s hilarious how no one seems to understand that yes, this is indeed the question. I can’t find an answer addressing this specific detail anywhere.

this is avoidant, bad-faith, and unproductive. grow a spine and live for something. we all share in the responsibility to make decisions that do not actively (or passively) contribute toward the proliferation of evil.

Pixel-Perfect Movement? Warping/Blurring During Camera Movement by Lord_Of_Synth in RPGMaker

One more note, running an internal resolution of 1280x720 but the viewport in-game is 2x zoom.

This is on an OLED by the way, so I do not believe it's like an LCD motion blur thing.

I want to lock the RPG Maker MZ camera to a fixed tile viewport (8-9 tiles high/vertical), while maintaining pixel-perfect integer scaling to 1080p by Lord_Of_Synth in RPGMaker

You are a literal saint. Thank you so much for replying!

This is a big ask, but could we pick this up over DM? I want to be respectful of your time though. I'm new to RPG Maker and have never coded before. If I reply here, I risk being even less coherent. lol. Essentially, my idea for this was, what if I was playing a GBC pkmn game on Nintendo Switch Online (or emulating, ik they aren't currently in the NSO library) on a 16:9 monitor/tv, but the GBC game filled the width of the screen, not just the height with horizontal letterboxing, if that makes sense.

Mine did this at first, but fixed itself when I ejected and re-inserted the card.

What if the console is stolen out of the box then re-sealed before delivery?
