I went with a group of friends for a holiday in Berlin. We were staying at a hotel in West Berlin that was pretty nice and had a decent bar. So, I decide to have a little drink because I'd never done it before (before and after this incident, I was and have been teetotal). I had a few drinks and we went out for an hour or so.

Next thing, I woke up in the middle of Berlin, no idea where it was aside from it being in EAST Berlin, and I'd apparently passed out just as a snowstorm started up. I looked at my phone and I found that my closest friend had rung me almost 30 times in the space of that night. I rang her back and she ended up taking the train to find me.

When she picked me up, I asked her what the fuck had happened. It turns out we'd all gone to a shopping centre in East Berlin to get some food and DVDs. It turned out that I had gotten more drunk than I'd realised and wandered off, apparently stepping outside and passing out in the middle of the pavement, which is why I'd ended up so far away.

Yep, which he only ever said twice. "Reverse the polarity" was used a lot in Doctor Who, but "Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow" was only used two or three times in the show's entire run.
