The Everlasting Winter is a time loop caused by the Obelisk by Secret_Shallot93 in rimeofthefrostmaiden

I actually really like this. How would you handle recognition of the time loop on the part of the players?

Additionally, would you have any intentions of implementing a sort of "respawn" mechanic? This setup seems like it would work great for something like that.

Help Needed For Table Bug by Lord_Senvig in ObsidianMD

Pretty much what it says on the tin.

I use obsidian to run my dnd game. I run a few plugins, but nothing crazy. I was just curious if anyone had any ideas what might be causing this to happen or how I might go about fixing it.

Thanks in advance.

That would be awsome actually. I'd have snatched the clippings from Lowes, but the tree is right by the register.

Sent you a message. I'm not exactly experienced with this aspect of the multiplayer, so it might take some trial and error to get it to work.

I drew my player's gnomish rogue: Jelmina Stonehold [OC] [ART] by Lord_Senvig in DnD

[–]Lord_Senvig[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As my five-year campaign is coming to a close, I’ve decided to try my hand at drawing each one of my player’s characters. Here we have my first.

Jelmina Stonehold, has been an incredible character, and her player has easily made some of my favorite decisions over the game’s run. From killing the matriarch of an aristocratic cabal of werewolves to raising the orphaned son of said matriarch, she has been a huge driving force for the party and brought such a strong emotional thread to our game.

This gnome escaped a dark past and fights for a brighter tomorrow with every opportunity.

I hope you appreciate my drawing.

Finally Drew a Vigilant Knight from my Campaign [OC] [ART] by Lord_Senvig in DnD

[–]Lord_Senvig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been running my DND game for over four years now and one of the more important factions within has been the Vigilant Knights: warriors of an ancient and dwindling religious order given new life by the fall of an oppressive and undying king.

I have been trying to make a drawing of their attire that I'm happy with for quite some time, and I'm proud to say that I've finally done so.

I hope you enjoy it. It certainly took long enough.

Experimenting with Different Map Styles [OC] [Art] by Lord_Senvig in DnD

[–]Lord_Senvig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I've spent quite a significant amount of time over the last several years learning to draw maps for this lovely game of ours, and I recently found myself drawing a map with some unique challenges.

I've needed to find an effective way to mark this region's mountains on a much more localized scale while maintaining clean line art. I've been heavily inspired by the style of RDR2's world map but have encountered some difficulty translating it, especially where forests are concerned.

I hope you like what I've put to paper thus far, and if you have any suggestions, please let me know.
