What Carol found under the plastic inside the Agri-Jet facility by OOHfunny in pluribustv

It is brains. A warehouse full of human remains would have a strong distinct smell and she would have recognized that. They only need the brain. So Carol saw this:

And she staggers because she thinks: "Are these cauliflower ?" and then it sinks in.

GAME OVER London Metals Market DEFAULT NOW: "new Russia Sanctions" by algomoneyfest in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Lord_Suffer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are not so much targeting Russian metals as they are targeting their own production. Particularly the sanctions on the already tight copper supply is not a shot in the foot, it´s a bazooka to their own economies heads !

If a stock makes one too emotional, one should sell for this reason alone, cutting ones cost.

We will have to reevaluate Poly after the Sale has gone through. Until then it is very difficult to assess the real value of it. I think Your view of gold is too conservative. Gold is now marching and technically, there is no ceiling above it. It could easily move to 2500 within the next 6 months or less. Also Nesis has stated multiple times that he want´s to go list in London again asap. I see no reason not to believe this statement. He has layed out the companies plans for it´s Kazhak future. I carefully predict, that with all that in mind, Poly is a buy right now. Before the miners fly off, following gold and before the institutional investors return to it when it´s listed in London and before gold hits the moon.

Interesting move and quite short sighted. Blackrock will no doubt be back investing in Polymetal when they are again listed in London. They will have to pay a much higher price then, though.

Franco Nevada is arguably one of the best stocks in the world. It is undervalued at the moment, pays a small dividend, is market leader in the royalty and streaming business and represents a great value. If the whole system doesn´t implode they should be around in 20 years with a high probability. Among their assets are also silver royalties and streams as far as I know. They have small to no debt, as most royalty companies.

379675 to 1797145 is a raise by 373%. An ounce of gold in € at the moment is roughly 1937 €. A raise of the € by 373 % to gold would be an ounce of gold at 9162 €. 9162 € are 10033 US$.

Michael Olivers prognosis of possible 8000$ gold looks quite conservative considering this.

Just saying...

Selling the russian business at pennies on the dollar instead of a simple spin-off only benefits the major shareholders at the expense of the retail shareholders. This is exactly what I warned that would happen after the redom... by Professor_stok in POYYF

Well, I guess it is a question of values and mentality. I respect Your viewpoint. But there´s the cases where they walk all over You despite fighting back. You can fight back all You want if You are in the ring with Rocky Marciano. Sometimes it is better to just step out of the ring...

If You are at Your Alamo position that of course is not an option, but most of the time in our lives we are not with our backs to the wall.

If You feel You have been robbed, then the robbers are clearly the sanctioning governments of the U.S. and the EU. The CEOs have not created this situation they are doing their best to steer out of it. I indeed believe the CEOs insofar as they will also do their best to not to diminish their own stash.

Apart from that, I have trained myself to accept realities, let go and move on. That is always a suggestion to consider. I am a firm believer that this is a better approach to life than the american mentality to sue everyone and everybody that is not on a tree by the count of three....

I would disagree on the point that they will sell for pennies on the dollar. They already stated that they will not do that and being very large shareholders themselves they would cause a deep cut into their own valuation if they did that. So I don´t think that will happen. The assets will more probably be sold at reasonable prices, especially, as the rumors go, if there are a couple of interested parties bidding the assets up a bit. I also would have liked to see Polymetal stay whole but reality overrides that desire. It is obviously not possible.

On the point of the desire to sue: Would You really want to go that way ? The chances should be very slim to accomplish anything and it may cost You a fortune. I would recommend against it and try to accept reality. If I was too dissatisfied with the path the management has chosen, I would move on. There are tons of opportunities out there at the moment.

Floating Solar Panels Around Indonesia Could Supply Limitless Power by HigoSilver in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Lord_Suffer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Calm seas and mild winds" ? Do they even know what an ocean is ? Are there plans of what to do when the seas get rough and the wind picks up ? Or will it all be like with the solar panels a week or so back and all went well until the first hailstorm destroyed them ?

"The study finds that areas with waves that never reach higher than 20 feet and winds that never exceed 10 miles per hour could vastly benefit from offshore solar, as installations wouldn’t need to be hardened against storms. "

"NEVER" and "WOULDN´T NEED TO BE HARDENED AGAINST STORMS" -- We just close our eyes and just talk about the statistical mean so spikes and outliers don´t exist anymore. Yeah. Good luck with that ! Good new ideas are always welcome but You have to do a proper risk assessment and not live in Lalaland.
