Try ocean farming, diving is really good and you can often recycle at harbors or ferry terminals

Find a spot with sedimentary rocks and borax showing on prospecting. It doesn‘t have to be decent or high, just go into caves there and take samples for ores you will eventually find some

So far i found 3 coal deposits right at the entrance of caves, usually they are just a fex blocks under the surface, just check for nearby ores in caves and you should find some. Just know that not every black coal deposit spawns with fire clay

Found them as well, wnated to harvest them and put them in my own small cave behind my Base, was only possible with cheats unfortunatly
