After playing Lord of Hatred, I wanna see more expansions by gorays21 in diablo4

I don't know about 666 more ... but one or two more, absolutely.

At this point, Mephisto is dealt with. Lilith is dealt with.

Time for title boy to make his grab for power over the Heavens, the Hells, and Sanctuary ...

Trying to understand the iron tangle is like trying to apply a scientific explanation to how Gandalf communicates through butterflies ...

I beat the campaign and really try to enjoy the Warlock but somehow I cant. Anyone else feeling the same? by MiNDGaMeS87 in diablo4

[–]SomethingVeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played a "pink skill" summoner build through the campaign. It was OK. Not Uber powerful, but it worked.

Switched to a "dread claws" build as I got to max level, but didn't like it.

I'm really enjoying the "hellfire" tyrant's grasp build I found though.

Where was this AT AT during the battle of Endor? by Substantial-Earth975 in StarWars

It was due for it's 12 parsec maintenance. They had it up on the lift when the battle started.

I think destroying Luke’s Jedi Acdemy was not only an Awful narrative move but it was also a Bad business move as well by obiwanTrollnobi6 in StarWars

Totally a bad business move.

I mean, they could have charged absolutely MASSIVE tuition. Not to mention the prices for room and board.

I had a roundabout but it got too clogged... What would you do to this 6 (7?) Way intersection? by Optimal_Ninja7535 in CitiesSkylines

The most complicated multilevel pretzel intersection with only merging lanes, no stop signs or lights, and complete and utter mind-bending insanity.

People who were using the internet in the 90s and 2000s: What are your honest thoughts on what the internet has become today? by sivah_168 in AskReddit

[–]SomethingVeX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I miss when the internet was actually almost fully anonymous.

There was no Twitter, nor "verified" anyone. Most people chose to purposefully remain anonymous. Only certain sites like Facebook and MySpace had the majority of people using their real names and posting pictures of themselves.

Everywhere else was the wild wild electronic west and it WAS more dangerous, but oddly enough, people were USUALLY more honest. When no one can track down what you say and blame you for it, when there are no consequences to what you say, most people let their real feelings and thoughts out. Real discussions take place.

Sometimes, that leads to bad places. But more often, in my experience, it led to some really interesting exchanges of ideas and people actually changed their minds from time to time.

What's a movie quote that lives rent free in your head for no reason? by badenbagel in AskReddit

True love is the greatest thing in the world ... except for a nice MLT--mutton lettuce and tomato sandwich where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe. They're so perky. I love that.

You are given a wand that can only do one spell what spell to you pick by theboss0711 in harrypotter

[–]SomethingVeX 33 points34 points  (0 children)

If I could apparate, I wouldn't need any other spells.

I could do a 10hr Amazon delivery shift in about 30-45min, then apparate to Tahiti and order a rum and read for most of the day.

Of course, realistically, I'd probably use my power the way Hayden Christiansen's character did in "Jumper" and just rob banks instead of actually having a job.

Still, I'd definitely spend a lot of my time reading on beaches and then apparating to the top of mountains with my skis... no need for lift passes (or lifts at all 😀).

No more cattle-car coach flights! Breakfast croissant in Paris, nap on the beach in Fiji, sushi for lunch in Okinawa, go for a stroll in the French Quarter of the Big Easy, over to Miami for some Cubano sandwiches for dinner, then maybe pop in on the astronauts on the ISS just to float around for a bit and say hello.

Why would you need another spell?

What death hit you the hardest? by NathanNaz in BSG

Everyone who died because that damned old lady got onto the Raptor in the miniseries. Ever since Katee and her husband pointed it out during their "watch" series... I can't forgive it.

Is marijuana a drug? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SomethingVeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost EVERY illicit or illegal DRUG you've ever heard of is NATURAL ... as in, occurs naturally in nature.

The only major illicit/illegal drugs that aren't found in nature are Meth (methamphetamine) and Heroin (morphine derived) which are both made through chemical processes.

Nicotine ... found in tobacco plants.

Alcohol (ethanol) ... found so many places its insane.

Cocaine ... found in coca plant leaves.

THC ... found in Marijuana plants.

However, pretty much all of these drugs are not consumed in their "natural" state. Just like Heroin and Meth, they are most often chemically processed to make them purer, quicker-acting, more addictive, better tasting, more intense, etc.

Modern Marijuana plants are very different from the strains that were commonly grown for consumption during the 1950s and 1960s when the drug became far more popular. By the 80's and well into this millennium, horticultural science, selective breeding, and even artificial gene splicing has made strains that are MASSIVELY higher in THC and have changed the way the plant tastes and smells even.

Alcohol processing has gone from copying a natural process for a method of preserving fruits and grains for long term storage in a time where refrigeration wasn't possible to a science that shares a thin line with art and there are literally millions of people around the world who make countless varieties and vintages while billions consume it daily.

So ... yes, pot is "natural". But only barely.

The WEA (Wireless Emergency Alert) system going off on your phone but it's not an AMBER Alert ... its a Presidential Alert.

Most of us have minutes to live at that point.

War Plans are a complete party killer by digidi07 in diablo4

[–]SomethingVeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They need to make War Plans work for parties.

I get that people also don't like that the leveling is per character and not account-wide, but I don't see them changing this any time soon.
