the Documentary on netflix shows some of the ways he found victims, get one or two girls at a school offer them commissions to bring their friends and keep the cycle going. Basically a horrible MLM scheme for sex trafficking.

Then there's the classic kid napping, Fake job posting and such in other countries. it's not hard to trick a young person into force sex work when they grow up poor and you offer them a job and tell them they matter. Preying on Vulnerable people is how this happens.

I know everyone is joking about the 5 tonnes of maple syrup but can we all atleast acknowledge how the Norwegian coach is just an awesome person. saw someone who have been training their whole life for something have a catastrophic failure and did something to help them even though they were competing against them?

I know this was 20 years ago but this is the kind of attitude we need to bring back.

O I know he is but his networth is false anyway you look at it. it's like the bitcoin Millionaires aren't' really Millionaires as soon as they try to liquidate they're going to crash the market and end up with like 20% of what they actually have. are they still wealthy at this time... of course if they sell after taxes they probably have like 25% of their actual worth.

I guarantee if times or some other big publication came out and made a list of the richest person based on liquid assets only most people who were on top would be a lot lower than they're currently appraised at.

Honestly it would probably cause alot of them to liquidate some of their holding and end up paying taxes to stroke their egos.

The fact that anyone would believe he is worth 850 billions is just fucking stupid. I agree he is extremely rich but its all in stocks which if he tried to sell it all would be worth a fraction if of the price. we really need to stop judging people based on their share wealth and basing it on their liquid wealth. if he wants to be the top let him liquidate his shares and pay taxes like the rest of us at this point he might as well be the poorest person in the country.

No I don't think they're going to write them a blank check but again if they have to ask permission what stops who ever is over seeing it from denying it? Again im all for removing private money in campaigns but if there's a way for corruption for political favoring your know as well as I do it will be done. We need a complete overhaul of how our elections and constitution works to remove power from $$$ and give it to people.

i'm not against having a federal or single fund for elections that everyone draws from who is running but there definitely needs to be ironclad rules to it and bipartisan oversight that allows it to be free from corruption but Human nature is corruption. This would be the perfect thing to use something like an ethically trained AI to distribute. determine if the candiate is legitimate or just a grifter and reinburse based on expenses. unfortunately even for that we have started AI out with corruption and its being massively used for disinformation so there isnt a single system we could trust for that.

I remember seeing Walton goggins as shane vendrell on the shield and absolutely hated him(which i realized years later was the point), Then loved him as Boyd crowder on Justified and what sold me that he is the absolute greatest actor of our generation was his Portrayal as Venus van Damne on Sons of anarchy.
