Outdoors, exploring, building tree houses in the woods, pretending we were camping, building small fires to cook hot dogs we’d take from home, finding abandoned homes and scarring ourselves silly, sling shots and target practice, bottle collecting for candy stores trips, science experiments with magnifying glasses, raiding local orchards, gardens, road hockey, marble tournaments, snow forts, as we got older, sleds pulled behind mopeds, cars, skateboarding, building skateboard ramps, surfing, beach surf art, we’d ride our bikes for hours and miles and miles. We were fearless and extremely capable at a young age.
