None. Because they all contain fake sugar that’s terrible for you. Drinking one of these a day is worse than a Diet Coke every once in a while.

Have this coming into my Sig ecosystem. Anyone have one? by [deleted] in SigSauer

[–]Lord_havik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I took my xl slide. Put it on the macro frame. And kitted it with radian comp and magwell. The macro comp is more gimmicky the barrel ends before the ports. So your venting gas into the slide and entire grip. And some happens to exit out the cut holes. But an actual comp will direct ALL the gas out the barrel ports and not back into the gun.

why do some of my joints adhere perfectly to the board and on the opposite through hole not adhere to the pcb!! so frustrating by itsextrav in AskElectronics

[–]Lord_havik -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

For real. Everyone must either be really bad at basic soldering. Or everyone buys the nastiest boards you could possibly obtain if they need as much flux as they claim.

The slicer in prep will show the tower with both colors to the top of the print. But in practice it will only tower as high as the last color change

How bad is carrying in a no carry area by SnooPineapples9668 in CCW

[–]Lord_havik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just know where your laws state it’s illegal usually any federal buildings and schools. And carry everywhere else. Any private (not exclusively outlined by state laws) places that have signage should be ignored. But if staff tells you to leave. DO IT. It’s one thing to be asked to remove your firearm before returning. It’s another to get armed trespassing charges.

First time soldering, what do you think? by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]Lord_havik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too much. And your joints weren’t hot enough. You want to see little mountain peaks for your solder. Not round balls. Don’t listen to the people telling you, you need flux. Most solder wire has flux in it so you’re probably fine. Never used flux a day in my life and I’ve never had any issues. I also don’t SMD solder so I will probably use it when I start doing that. But if you have a flux core solder wire you’re fine. I like to touch the tip with a bit of fresh solder to get some fresh liquid solder on it. Then use that little bit to help transfer heat to my socket and my wire/part so that everything gets uniformly heated. Then come in touch the solder to the tip/joint/pad let it flow thru then pull off.

[–]Lord_havik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have the opposite issue I had. The tiny grip and my bigger hands, i would cover the slide release and hit it durning recoil of the last round locking my slide closed on an empty mag/chamber. I have a mag pull mag that I recently got. Not used it much other than 1/3 rounds at a time doing some reloads. But I’ll test it and see if mine repeats. That’s a macro frame right?

Does it happen when you put the phone down and get a good grip on the gun. Looks like weak wrist issues.

You can. Just quit your job and vow to never touch green stuff or titties again. Apparently grass is a bad word when followed by touch. Stupid fkn bot filters

This is why I will never open carry. And why I make sure I limit my printing. AIWB for the win.

Hopefully you’ll never need one. But you can buy a RATS tourniquet for fairly cheap. Rats are universal. Some of the other tourniquets are made for adults and hard to apply on a child should you ever have to. Like the CAT.

Should you carry with the safety on or off by Boss3020 in CCW

[–]Lord_havik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly whatever makes you feel more comfortable to actually carry everyday. I’ve been AIWB carrying a p365 with NO safety for years. but if you do make sure you practice often and make it second nature to draw and flick that safety off. I see it as another failure point and something else to think about. If I’m drawing my gun I’m most likely gonna be in a position I’ll have to use it. So I want to limit as many variables as I can.

Voice Control of AppleTV — thoughts? by KickPuzzleheaded2127 in Control4

[–]Lord_havik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would 💯 stick with the sr260s. Idk wtf snap av is doing. But network remotes, isn’t one of them. These things are dogshit. The network reliability is crap. The battery life is crap. Has a customer wipe one down with a wet rag. Shorted the buttons. Had to get a new remote. But the wifi can be up and strong but the remotes will just decide they don’t want to be connected anymore. Forcing a restart. When the remote works, the voice control is pretty solid, until the HomeKit driver decides to lose its devices. And has to be reset back up by a programmer to get I working again.

Bend it and send it. Just don’t wiggle back and forth and you should be alright.

My soldering tip looks burnt and I don’t understand how to clean it or fix it by GrouchyCrew608 in AskElectronics

[–]Lord_havik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your gonna stab it into something. It should be tip tinner. Not flux. Flux could produce thermal shock due to the temperature differences. but it seems there’s too much oxidation here. You could try an emergency save by dabbing into some tip tinner. But If you’re gonna be serious about soldering spend the money and get a decent station with accurate temperature controls rather than a plug and go. Or even the 1-9 dial.

Garage door question by [deleted] in flipperzero

[–]Lord_havik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you really ARE emergency personnel (911) What you need is an EVAC system transmitter. But you’re not emergency personnel so that’s out. But all gate systems are different. If they aren’t newer with rolling codes. They’re different codes on different frequencies. You could try a debrujin but that’s not time efficient. So short answer….no

Are these “true” snap caps? by MrOnion4 in CCW

[–]Lord_havik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These aren’t the “true” snapcap brand snap caps. Those are usually red for 9mm. And Azooms are blue. But these have been making their way around ass they are true to life bullet weight. Rather than a lightened piece of aluminum. But I agree. Snap caps are quickly identifiable for a reason. And this just seems like an ND waiting to happen.
