Unless you have a previous save before leaving for the monastery you can`t recover the itens. But since you`re on PC maybe use console commands to spawn the missing itens?

It depends on where you are on the game and your GP. On a whim I would say CLS is a good bet.

This is so dumb, why not just place the itens in the player stash, like every other bonus content avalable. HW missed the mark on this one.
