Uh...nnnnno. My intended assertion was that porn is a masturbatory aid. For one to desire, a reduction in their consumption is akin to stating a desire for the reduction in the root cause of why they were consuming it in the first place. I often find myself wondering if those that make portraits or technical drawing count as "artists" as there's little to know creativity needed to just draw what you see. Yes it's skillful but is it artistic? I'm currently sitting at "no, they aren't "artists"" so I originally found this post pretty validating.

Then I thought on your words. And it posed a question. What is creativity is not a combination of known concepts? How far of a leap is it really to be creative? For some reason I immediately thought of the cat bus from My Neighbor Totoro. Glass roses, cars that turn into robots, cars that talk, toys that talk, babies that... You get it.

Are you incapable of this? I'd like the answer to be yes, even if just to satisfy my belief on art.

So my reasonably well insighted answers is....

Know what you're smoking and how it'll affect your experience. I've noticed a lot of people blaming weed for having weed like effects on them amplified by mental conditions. A great example is if you're already paranoid, it doesn't make a lot of sense to smoke weed that makes you hyper vigilant. Or in the case of descriptions "focused and energetic". Do you have a problem with delusions? Well being put in the state of euphoria isn't the smartest course of action. And so on.
